Food and Dining

The dining room, byffet, room service and the Crown Grill were very good. We were not impressed with the Planks BBQ and will not try it again. I liked the pulled pork and the beef, but the ribs were tough, definitely not fall off the bone.

Cabin seemed smaller than other cabins we've stayed in. There were 2 of us and it was designed for 4 people. I hit my head a couple of times on the upper bunks.

Ship tip

The ocean medallion was fully functional. It holds all your info, including if you have a drink package.

Not much at the cruise port. Due to safety warnings about this port we didn't do an excursion.

Willemstad, Curacao

We were on the off road buggy adventure excursion. It's operated by Scooby Tours and it was so much fun. We'd do this again.

Or a fire door, if it gets activated, it bangs shut.

In the future you might ask for a cabin for two. Those bunks on the wall can make the cabin seem smaller. We always use a Princess vacation planner to book our cruise. They are employed by the company. Ours always looks out for us...knows we are 2 and won't put us in a cabin with the bunks...looks to make sure we are not next to a white area or next to an elevator! The vacation planner can offer perks that a regular travel agent can't. We've been on the Caribbean Princess 3 times and have always had a great experience!!
