Review summary

This was my first cruise on Princess ship and I stayed in an inside cabin. The cabin was small (158 sq ft) but neat and tidy. I found the shower in the cabin is too tiny for ease of move around during shower. Also the shower head is fixed at the top. I'd prefer to be able to hand hold the shower head with a hose attaching to it. Overall, we did enjoy the cruise particularly the onboard entertainment at the Explorer Lounge as there were a few 70s show games with guests and crew member involved and they were fun. The quality of the evening diner was very great with steak/roast available for a few nights as well as a couple of nights baby lobster tail for selection from the menu. The show at the Theater is so so. I'll try a bigger ship (such as Regal Princes) in my next cruise to see if it'll be better. Guests were very nice. Met and chatted with a number of guests from various cities/countries during morning, lunch and evening meal times. we enjoyed the conversations very much and we exchanged emails with a couple of them to stay in touch in future.

The weather was overcast and also rained on-and-off. This turned off my plan to head to the beach. Because of the rain, the deck was wet and I heard from a witness that there was an accident - an old lady felt down on the wet deck and she was sent to the island hospital for treatment. Ship left without her and her husband.

The cabin is the individual preference. We always choose the inside cabin nice n dark if you decide to take a nap during the day and besides we only sleep..shower and change clothes there. We are usually out and about the ship. We have been on the Royal Princess at least three times.(another of the Royal class ships, sister ship to Regal) it's a beautiful ship and really big, however I don't remember if the inside cabins are much bigger. Whatever you decide Princess is a great cruise line. In our 19 cruises Princess has never disappointed!!
