Review summary

Many of Princess Cruises included Drinks, Tipping, Internet and and speciality restaurant as a bonus for booking with Princess. But if you book a TransAtlantic orTransPacific Cruise you lose all of it plus you will be ask to buy everything they have to offer at grate cost.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
We are Platinum member 6 days shy of Select membership. But we were treated just like any ordinary traveler. Exemple; We had to buy the Gold wine package and drink half a bottle each day but at three occasions Princess lost our half bottle of wine. In one occasion we had to call the dining room head waiter Captain instead of believing us, they suggested that we had drank it all the evening before and that we will have to order a new bottle. Fortunately by chance the assistant waiter found the bottle half an hour later… There was no apology from the head waiter. Same thing for the other two occasions. Plus our choice of dinning was a table for two (We have a difficulty hearing) Every day was the same you were asked if you would share a table now or you would wait 15 to 20 minutes. So every evening we waited outside with a buzzer for our table!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Most of the activities were unsupervised. For exemple they provided you with a Pickle Ball, and racket but the court did not have any lines on the inside. It caused a lot of problems with the players. Since we were unable to play by the rules. Because of the missing court lines the games often erupted into heated arguments. We asked the administration to provide us with chalk or tape. They never did send anyone over.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
It is important that comments be sent to the right person. We had bought a cabin with the best view available, plus our platinum upgrade. We think we had the worst cabin available Plaza 246, very very small. With 2 beds on the floor and two beds on the wall over our head. The worst part is we noticed only on the last night of our cruise that the cabin was infected with mold on the ceiling above the bunk bed. We mentioned it to the the room attendant before we left. I hope that the room will be sanitized! (The mold was between ceiling and the wall approx, 2-3 inch wide by 6-7 feet in length!.
