Staffing in bars and restaurants inadequate even on this small ship. Often only one bartender at each bar causing big waits for a drink order.

This is where things fell short for us and I will explain why. Waiters and staff are too rushed and have lack of training then pile on the “my time dining” . Staff start out attentive for early seating then MTD starts at 6:45. But we’re being let it at 6:30. This immediately took wait staff away from their tables thus slowing service to the diners waiting for mains and deserts. This is a process problem not a wait staff problem. But as for staff, there was also no attention paid to delivering messy bowls of soup, poorly displayed dishes etc. .time and care and presentation very lacking.
RRCL needs to rethink this port for departure. I can tell you i would never again sail from this port as it requires either a three our bus ride from Venice, at your cost, or one from Bologna.
