Review summary

If you get the opportunity take this wonderful cruise, do it.......... I'm so very glad I had the chance to experience these ports and I do plan on doing another Med cruise similar to this one.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was the fastest embark out of all my previous cruises. We arrived at the ship around 10am and to my surprise they were letting people embark. I was on the ship by 10.20. I wish every embark could be that fast.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was very good on this cruise.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
This was a cruise 12 night cruise on board the Brilliance of The Seas, it's a smaller Royal Caribbean ship with less activites on board. I do enjoy the activites better on the larger ships, more to do. I must add that after exploring the beautiful ports in Europe that was entertainment I will never forget.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment was very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters and room stewards were terrific.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Gorgous beautiful ship. I love Radiance Class Ships for longer cruises.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The balcony cabin was a little smaller than I normally have however I spent little time in it and it was very clean.

Ship tip

Take plenty of pictures and video's. Cherish every memory.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
Spent 4 days in this city before embark. Loved it.

Cannes, France

5 out of 5
Loved the port and the excursion. I took an excursion to a couple of old french towns about an hour and half from the port. I visited Seillans and Fayence.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
We actually did not arrive at Livorno because of a port issue. Royal Caribbean ended up taking us to La Spezia a few hours north of Livorno. This change of port didn't affect the excursion I already booked. I went to Florence and Pisa. Wonderful time.

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
This place was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful Greek Island.

Santorini, Greece

5 out of 5
One word, Unbelievable. A must see of a lifetime. The Town of Oia, breathtaking.

Valletta, Malta

5 out of 5
I enjoyed it. I took an excursion called The Blue Grotto, great experience.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I was off the ship quickly and back at the airport early.

I have only taken one Meditteranean cruise but will do another post retirement. Looking forward to revisiting, as you stated also. Best wishes.
