Review summary

An enjoyable cruise having excellent weather throughout. Were treated very well by all members of staff. The Cruise Ship is in need of an upgrade in many areas, starting to show ware and tare throughout.

As a my time dining guest we always found the dining room staff well organised. having booked dinner for 8pm every night our table was always ready.

Being more senior passengers we only participated in the mini golf. we found this to be quite entertaining.

All staff were very professional on going about their duties. They took time to talk to guests ensuring that everything was in order.

A Cruise ship that is starting to show its age, seating is starting to look worn and in some lounges in need of replacement. The common areas were well mentained a kept very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

On arrival at our Stateroom we had to ask the Steward to dust the room before we could empty our suitcases. Although the Stateroom bed was made up on a daily basis the remainder of the room was given a minimal clean, it fell well below the standards of other Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships.

Ship tip

If you sail out of Barcelona please be aware that the Duty Free Shop is never open. My wife and I did not find out about this until the ship had sailed. We asked a number of staff why this area was not open. We were never given a definitive answer. This information was not given prior to the cruise. The other annoying thing was when you purchased any item at the shops on board the price displayed was not he price you paid. TAX was added on. Being a British Citizen we cannot claim Tax back.

We took a morning excursion around Valetta. A very informative courier and excellent driver. An old island that appears to just beginning to come into this century.
