Transatlantic Tampa to Harwich

Sail Date: May 04, 2015

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Enjoyed ports and was glad we stopped in Norfolk instead of Boston.

The port in Norfolk was excellent for first time visitors as you could walk to museums.

Being a full ship it was hard to find seats for movies and shows unless you went one hour ahead of schedule.

Needed more activities geared to adults.  Rock climbing and outdoor movies in a storm just does not work!

Time changes made at 11am messes up the daily schedule.  I suggested 2am time change which was later used on the cruise.

Dinning and room attendants were great.  Customer Service left a lot of room for improvement. They just pass you on to another, to another with no results which upset me to no end.

You had a wide choice of dinning venues.

Getting on and off the ship went smoothly.

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Slim and Willian were great. They had my tea ready and made suggestions on what to order.
It was okay. It just did not WOW me.
Onboard Activities
Rock climbing, golfing and activities outdoors in bad weather not good. Needed skill games such as bowling, ring toss, putting done indoors.
Destinations and Excursions
Enjoyed the ports. Ordering our excursions before sailing made it easy to enjoy the excursions. Tours guides were informative, friendly and spoke excellent English.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size of room is okay. Did enjoy the Ocean view.

Do bring your hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner, mouth wash and toothpaste.
Body wash, soap, tissue and toilet paper are provided.

The ship is ready for a makeover as things are showing their use.
Norfolk, Virginia
Museum was as you walk off ship.
Cobh (Cork), Ireland
Enjoyed Irish countryside and Kinsale
Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium
Took panoramic Ghent by canal boat and great weather

Do enter the drawings going on during your cruise. You never know when you will be a winner.
