12 Night Mediterranean Featuring Venice (Barcelona Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 30, 2011
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 5 years ago
Too many formal nights resulting in the decks being consumed with photographers. Photos should not be taken while eating meals. Shopping was very limited...same old stuff. Food choices were average. Excursions expensive - no ability to know on internet about shuttle services for "on your own" travels. Pool facilities inadequate. Entertainment in theater was so-so...one great performance (Broadway was well done).

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Cruise is expensive enough without having to pay extra for QUALITY food at specialty restaurants. Variety was limited in both the Windjammer and Minstrel.

Entertainment

Nothing to write home about!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Except for dining in Minstrel and our stateroom atttendant, it did not appear anypne was "going above and beyond". Overall friendliness in Windjammer seemed to be lacking.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Due to small size of ship, every place was made difficult to get through without bumping into people. Not impressed with overall cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom
