Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet food wasn't great. Quantity over quality. Suggest avoid and have breakfast in restaurants,More relaxed and food tasted better. Lunch in restaurants was varied and tasty. Sharing cod is excellent. Afternoon tea excellent if you have room for it. Evening meals looked impressive on the menu and looked good on the plate. However they mainly disapointed on taste.Mostly bland. Portions were small but you could ask for more. Drinks were reasonably priced. Holy snail £17 per bottle was good value.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Gym well equipped with sea views. Good range of classes, some foc. Talks on board were entertaining.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were all of a high standard.

Children's Programs

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

4 out of 5
Embarkation was efficient and fast.

Stavanger, Norway

5 out of 5
Did not spend much time in port as we did excursion most of the stay. Attractive destination. Fjord trip was excellent. There were tickets available near the ship. Much cheaper than P&O.

Flam

5 out of 5
Not much to do in Flam. Take excursion on train, its spectacular. Takes a couple of hours. Sit on the right for better views. Booked tickets on line.Half the price of P&O excursion (£98) Plenty of tickets were available in station which is a couple of minutes walk from ship.Make sure you book the same time as trips organised by P&O (theres a theme here). That way you know you will be back before ship sails.

Cruise Sognefjord

5 out of 5
Excellent cruise, great scenery.

Alesund, Norway

5 out of 5
Troll cruise took up whole of stay here. Great scenery and good buffet lunch included.

Bergen, Norway

5 out of 5
Hardangerfjord trip took all day so saw little of Bergen. Largest venue on cruise. Day trip was excellent, with outstanding candlelit buffet.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy. Best to have something bright and visible on suitcases as they are not that easy to find.
