Review summary

This was our 1st cruise and overall we loved it. The anomalies were unfortunate but not enough to put us off booking another cruise which we did on board Azura.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I have only given three stars as my wife found a hair in her meal and although somebody came and spoke to us and asked for our cabin number, we didn’t hear anymore.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We made use of the fitness centre.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage shows and entertainment team were first class.

Children's Programs

We didn’t have any children in our party.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff we had dealings with were excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Although it took a while to find our way around the ship the layout was good and all areas were kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was ok for size and cleanliness. Sadly the shower area was dated.

Ship tip

Buy into the activities eg formal nights and sail away parties. You won’t regret it.

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
We did the submarine experience which we booked before our holiday. We would have paid a lot less by booking at the port.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Beautiful island and we enjoyed going to the beach.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
We went to the beach by the airport runway which is a special experience.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Beautiful small island.

St. John's, Antigua

5 out of 5
Had a fun day at the beach.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
We went on the train ride which was not good value for money.

St. George's, Grenada

5 out of 5
Another fun day at the beach.

Kingstown, St. Vincent

5 out of 5
Another beautiful island and beach.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Once we got to 24 hours from our disembarkation the way we were treated changed to us feeling we didn’t really exist.

We go on Azura in a few weeks - can't wait! Did you do an excursion to the beach in St Maarten with the ship or on your own? I'd really like to go to this beach but am worried about finding transport to get back to the ship. 😊
