Review summary

I had already booked another cruise with P&O before going on this one. I'll wait and see if it is an improvement before I book another one with them.

Embarkation

Very poor. Booking in staff very grumpy. Long delays.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Poor choice and food cold in buffet. MDR it took 45 mins to get child's fish fingers and chips, was told the delay was because they had to cook them. All waiters looked miserable. They only put small cutlery out at kids tea time, do they think kids only eat once a day.

The Glass House

4 out of 5

Very good food and fantastic service.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
None used.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Mike the magic man and David Russell were very good. The rest were ok apart from Cane the comedy act. He just spent the whole time picking on the guests.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My 3 yr old loved it and wanted to go when ever they could. Lots of things to do. Staff very tuned into kids.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
They were ok till you came up with a problem then they just made up excuses and didn't want to solve it. Just passed the buck.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Lots of areas were dirty. Seem to only clean the bit you can see. Lifts out of action for many days at a time. Public toilets not working for the whole cruise. And much more.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
A fair size. Not very clean, again some shevles were not wiped for the whole 2 weeks. Floor not cleaned daily. Put up bed damaged and had very shape edges on steelwork. This was fully visible to cabin steward but he kept leaving it till I complain after cutting my foot it. Staff told me to go to ships doctor but wouldn't pay for it ( cost Over £70). They did come and do some repairs to bed but they didn't fix it.

Ship tip

Book with another cruise line.

Interesting review. Arcadia ship also had lifts not working and toilets often closed - they said people putting things down the toilet blocking them. I do not believe this as on world cruise segment with lots if older people!!! Don't think they are inconsiderate to block toilet.
