Review summary

Ship very good, food good, tours average, entertainment could be better but ok.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Couldn't be easier and quicker, drop car, drop cases, check in, security and on, easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining rooms a tad repetitive, buffet is good, favourite is the fish and chip shop.. loads of choice around the ship, on a budget the included food is good, only disappointment is the lack of soft drink vending machines in the cafés rather tgan having to go to a bar to get a soft drink.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Can't fault the on-board activities, plenty to do from golf to cards.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not bad overall but not as good as I had expected, they try hard but routines are a bit average.. I wouldn't not go but overall could be improved.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall very good, there was the odd one or two of staffs heart not into it but it is hard work so everyone can get tired..

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall the ship is very good, layout hood, very clean, no complaints here.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had an alcove cabin on deck 5, loved it, so close to the sea you could see jellyfish etc, very dramatic, the only downside is the mirror location as the bed is in the way and we did hear a hoover above each night about 10pm but that was fine.

Ship tip

Try the Alcove Balconies on deck 5, loved it

Ports of call

Marseille (Provence), France

3 out of 5
Marseille is a bit rough if you wander away from the harbour, there are a lot of north African beggers and pickpockets, beware, the little train to get up to the basilica is a tad expensive but an interesting way of getting up there, long wait if you don't book it on the ship as a tour, expect a few dirty looks when you jump the Q, the basilica is well worth a visit.

La Coruna, Spain

3 out of 5
We stayed close to the ship, walk round the town then up to the little fort, which is just a couple of euros to get in, worth a visit.

Alicante, Spain

3 out of 5
Went on a tour to Elche, a bit expensive for what ig was but interesting..

Cadiz (Spain)

3 out of 5
Narrow historic streets, a nice place to wander around.

Southampton (London), England

4 out of 5
Port is easy to navigate, could do with more parking on site though.

Valencia, Spain

4 out of 5

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy, did the self walk off, was on deck 5 so easiest disembark ever..
