Ship tip
Do not book this ship standards have fallen this ship is aimed at families, not the normal p and o standard others have described it as Benidorm at sea.
All worked very well slight problem told the staff the wheelchair person could not manage a high step onto us told no problem when at bus large step and no auxiliary step wait in the sun to find alternative eventually taxi found.
We loved the Arvia last April but I can now totally understand why you'd be underwhelmed. It was our very first cruise and we had a lovely balcony room.
We were blown away by cruising itself and so were delighted. However we went again during November, this time on Arvia's Sister-Ship, Iona and definitely noticed what you're talking about. It put us off for a while (but not too long! lol). We're going on an adults only ship this May and so will see how that goes (it's with P&O again btw)
Can't resist any longer, read this on the 12th when it was posted and didn't understand it. Read it several times since and "nope" still don't. Perhaps it's me, please explain
