Review summary

The itinerary of the cruise was great, really loved the excursions, especially land of the Trolls, Beautiful West, blue lagoon. We saw some amazing scenery. The ship just didn’t have any wow factor to it and the food was disappointing but we had a great time. The lunches on the excursions were good as were the guides. We just felt that post covid you can tell the cruise companies are trying to get their money back with just the little nice touches missing. The entertainment was good overall. Our first time with P&O not sure if I would go again with them. I think it would depend on the ship and destination.

The talks were very good there just needed to be more of them.

Entertainment

The band in the Globe - Pulse, Catlin and Jacob and group were absolutely brilliant.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Not enough staff especially if you were trying to get a drink. Worse on sea days.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was very clean couldn’t fault that at all. The buffet there was never enough seating. There was no wow factor with the ship needed an update. Usual problem with the toilets although that did get better as the days went on.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was clean and comfy lots of cupboards and hanging space. Could have done with more plugs we took an extension lead. Would have been nice to have a few more luxuries like body lotion and hair conditioner but the actual white company shower gel and shampoo were nice. No nice chocolates anymore. Cabin was large enough though.

Ship tip

Definitely book your shore excursions before you go. Take an extension for more plugs. Don’t expect luxury but it’s a clean and friendly ship.

The parking guys were brilliant. Parking close to the ship so not far to walk with your luggage. I had left my phone in the car and hadn’t realised until I was on board the ship so had to go back to the car park. The guys were absolutely brilliant couldn’t have been more helpful. They were so kind, they found our car and my phone in record time. Fantastic service best I have had in a long time.
