Review summary

Cruise was good, enjoyed the relaxing, the issue that I have is the constant up selling by the staff, every time we sat down for a drink someone was in your face either trying to sell a massage or a upgrade dinner package, it really started to wear me down

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very good - straight in no hold ups at all, staff at Southampton knew what they were doing and very helpful

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good and well presented but I did feel it was a little repetitive,

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The shows were good especially the ‘We will Rock You’ but the organisation to get in was crazy, we queued up outside for nearly half an hour, the queue was right down through the ship The photo people thought it was funny and were taking pictures, but no one came along to organise even when they knew it was so busy Once in side people were saving seats for friends who turned up as the show was starting which got a lot of guests annoyed,

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Good and enjoyable, you can get involved as much or as little as you like

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always good, can’t do enough for you

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Clean tidy, good ship, easy to move around and find venues

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was a good size and very comfortable We have traveled a few times with RC and in the past they have cleaned the room in the morning and then in evening have come around again to replace towels where needed, and the attendant was always around if you needed him, on this trip that has changed hardly saw our guy and when we had showers in the evening we were left with wet towels for the morning,

Ship tip

If you sail to New York make sure you book a taxi to meet you

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

4 out of 5
Well organised and easy to embark the ship

Lanzarote, Canary Islands

4 out of 5
Enjoyed weather was perfect but bit of a walk to get to the town.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Did not go due to hurricane Tammy, ship diverted to Halifax Nova Scotia which was a lovely stop with lots to see and do, our favourite stop of this cruise

Tenerife, Canary Islands

4 out of 5
Lots to see, enjoyed the market, again bit of a walk from ship to the town

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

3 out of 5
Nightmare to get off ship was waiting for nearly two hours, once we were off there was no taxi and once we did get one it cost a fortune

Vigo, Spain

4 out of 5
Good city, ship is very close to city so nice and easy to walk in to town

Lisbon, Portugal

4 out of 5
Love Lisbon lots to see and do and again ship is close to city so easy to walk in to

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Nightmare but I don’t believe this is totally down to RC the US border control are very diligent and go through every thing with everyone RC would have made it easier if they had kept us up to date with the situation
