We had a good time for the most part but thought the cruise line Royal Caribbean really nickel and dimes you to death. They even charged for water and popcorn?? We couldn't even take an excursion that wasn't controlled by them. Per the locals all prices for excursions are set by the cruise line. On other cruises we have had several choices portside other than just the ones on ship. Not so here. Pretty much take it or leave it. We took another couple, first time cruisers, with us. Took us several years to get them to take a cruise and was very disappointed it didn't live up to others we had bragged about. will not take another Royal Caribbean cruise for these reasons.
Embarkation

took us 45 minutes to even get to the terminal. Once there boarding was a swift yet hectic
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was ok but not exceptional. Charged extra for lobster and surf and turf even in the main dining room which have been a regular item on other ships that I have traveled on.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Shows were mostly ok. Comedians excellent. Fitness center was an extra charge as well.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Musicals were great although very loud. Comedians were excellent
Service and Staff

Our waiters and room stewards were great. Entertaining and very efficient
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship was clean and well-maintained but elevators were half the time out of service
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the balcony. room was same as most other ships I've been on. Although I thought the bathroom was bigger than most others. Room steward kept everything In tip top shape
Ship tip
I thought they nickeled and dimed us everywhere. From controlling dock shore excursions and purchases to charging for water and popcorn on board
not enough time to do any shore excursions here before or after but terminal was very efficient once we got there. Only one road going in which contributed to 45 minute wait
