Review summary

Enjoyed the cruise and the stops and especially the canal. Did not like my HA bill at the end. Felt ripped off by extra charges.

Tennis Court

4 out of 5

Enjoyed being introduced to pickleball for the first time. Not fun to play when ship is underway as too windy.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
OK but not spectacular.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They were all great. Courteous, friendly, well spoken. Could not have asked for better.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Good. We had been on other HA ships and similar layout. Cleanliness was above and beyond.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was good. Extra we spent on balcony was a waste of money. Not much to see on port side of ship and balcony was either too hot or too cold to really enjoy. Common ares more comfortable.

Ship tip

Watch them, they are after your money.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Long wait lines for boarding, slow to process passengers

Cartagena, Colombia

Just visited ship side.

What were you charged extra for at the end of the cruise? I have never been charged extra for anything I was unaware of. Tips are charged if you did not prepay them, but anything else should not be charged unless you ordered drinks at meals, booked an excursion, went to specialty restaurant, etc.
