Review summary

This was an amazing trip! Everything that we saw and did West for the first time, except for the cruise itself. We enjoyed the size of the ship as it was not overwhelmingly large and made several friends while I'm bored. The food was excellent and every staff member with the exception of one, believe her name was Susan in the future cruises Department or very helpful friendly and we appreciated them our cabin stewards were awesome so friendly and helpful. We would certainly join Holland America again in the future!

EVERYONE we came in contact with were helpful, always happy and smiling, with the exception of one of the Future Cruise personnel Susan. Unfortunately, I do not have her last name. Spoke with a couple other passengers who had had the same experience with her. Our room stewards we excellent! We loved them! Did an extraordinary job!

Toured the church and downtown, on our own. So much more than we had expected! Wished we had had more time because we would have climbed the fort just outside of town. We did travel to see it and it is amazing just wished we could have spent more time there.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Our flight was at 10:30 so we did not have time. however, we have visited Florida many times before and it is in awesome state.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The only issue that we had, we had an early disembarkation, was the ones that needed to get off first because they had not started at the very beginning of our tour had put some of their luggage out the night before and it all had to be found before they could be cleared so we all had to wait a good 45 minutes. A little scary since we did have a very early flight. But they kept us well informed and after that it was seamless
