Excellent trip and ship. Can’t wait to see her upgrades
Embarkation

Pleasantly surprisingly EASY. Literally walked on and through the entire process almost without stopping. Very well organized, smooth, pleasant and painless
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Loved the Main Dining food. Always tasty, plentiful. Good selections - both with the mainstays and the changes each night. Did not do any speciality restaurants. I personally don’t see why - when you have such a great variety of “free/included” choices. Buffet - while always crowded - had good variety. Only used for lunch a few days. Johnny Rockets for breakfast was nice change. Loved the main dining breakfast - used every morning
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Used pool about every day. Even though a lot of people - seemed to have plenty of loungers. Several days saw multiple loungers with towels on them but literally NEVER used - and I mean for 3-4 HOURS. Wish they monitored that a little better. Didn’t use the other sports areas but looked like fun
Entertainment
5 out of 5
FANTASTIC. I truly was blown away with the ultimate quality of the entertainment. Mama Mia was straight off of Broadway. Blue Planet was mesmerizing. The (adult) comedy was just enough adult to be super fun. I still can’ get over how high quality it actually was
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Although only met room steward day of arrival - the room was always cleaned neat and I got 3 towel animals over the 7 nights. Waiters in dining room were friendly, professional and attentive. Bolaro bar tenders were some of the BEST we’ve had. Visited them every night between dinner and the shows. Generous drinks, friendly conversation. Loved how they would literally remember you AND your drink night after night. Same with Casino bartender - super fun to “hang” out with.
Ship Quality

Although the ship is large - and the first time we’ve been on this size class it didn’t seem overwhelming. Very easy to get around, logical ways to and from different area. Our balcony cabin was literaly midship, deck 8 - so we were smack dab in the middle of everything.
Cabin / Stateroom

First time in a balcony and needless to say - won’t be my last. Spoiled now. Cabin small for more than sufficient for 2. Lots of storage and well laid out. Cabin always clean - made sure to put my “magnet” on outside of door letting steward know when we were out of the room. Always came back to cleaned room
Ship tip
DON”T go to Windjammer at noon (hhahahha). But seriously - she was a great ship, well maintained with friendly nice staff. Midship, Deck 8 balcony was perfect location to get to/from everywhere.
One of my FAVORITE ports. The upgrades is beautiful. Plenty of space to play, lounge, relax. Stayed by the pool - but plenty of areas and didn’t feel crowded. Waterpark looked like a lot of fun for kids
Stayed in port - beautiful port. Had it’s own beach/pool area that we spent the day at. Watched people swimming with dolphins. Fun restaurant just off the beach that we watched local WWF wrestling :)
Super easy. Again - basically walked right off. We didn’t do self disembarkation and had to wait until almost 9:30 to exit - but smooth easy transition. Was able to easily get a cab back to hotel
