We were lucky to get a suite and the embarkation went very smoothly.

Food and Dining

As usual the Staff is outstanding, very welcoming and helpful. The food is just OK, which, I guess is good so we don't over eat . . .however we feel the Main Dining food has gone downhill in the past couple of years. Windjammer buffet was good, but not exceptional.

Onboard Activities

Fitness center was big and had a lot of options. Pool decks were big, but chair hogs still lurk everywhere.

Entertainment

Very good entertainment on this cruise. We loved the Alley Cats acapella group. The gentleman playing guitar in the afternoons in the Royal Promenade was great, too.

Service and Staff

Our Cabin Attendant, Elvin, was outstanding. Friendly and very efficient. Our waiters were great, and this is the first cruise I've taken in a while where the Head Waiter stopped by every evening in Main Dining to make sure things were good. Much appreciated.

Ship Quality

This ship is not new by any means, but our cabin and the public areas were looking great. The outside of the ship shows some wear, but it still looked clean and great.

Cabin / Stateroom

This cabin was great, but be advised, if you're prone to motion sickness, do NOT book a room in the front like this cabin is located. It rocked and rolled a lot during our cruise.

Ship tip

Book your dining time when you make your reservation, ie. Early or Late Seating. We saw a LOT of people waiting in line to get into the Main Dining room Dinner for My Time Dining.
