Review summary

Overall cruise was great but disappointed in the Solarium. They need to raise the age to above 16. Way too many loud, uncontrollable teenagers. The solarium to me is a quieter, shaded place, away from the louder main pool deck where you would expect the noise. Difficult for me to read or rest. Tried to sit in hot tub and teenagers brought in their own speaker and blasted music. Really rude to ppl around you. I have two teenagers myself 16 &13 that do not behave that way. I feel the RCL officers should be taking a walk through here to police behavior, etc. lifeguards and bartenders won’t.

First time out of Fort Lauderdale, so quick and so easy. Staff was very helpful and friendly 😃

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Drinks are always great, they don’t cheap out on the alcohol and actually use brand named stuff as opposed to all inclusive resorts, where you get garbage alcohol. The food was good, was nervous about these new theme nights but found something to get each night.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The comedian was awesome, the piano player in schooner bar was great. Ice skaters were good but couldn’t figure out the premise of the show, it was weird. My family was not into the ballroom dancing show. All the little shows in the imperial lounge were good but very difficult to get a seat. They need a bigger venue. These shows very popular and got busy quickly.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our stateroom attendant was great and always got what we needed. Our dining staff, Isreal and capella were AWESOME!! So great to my boys, getting them free pop, etc. saying kind things about our family.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It’s older and you can tell. Toilets were and issue. But I do like midships for getting around easy

Cabin / Stateroom

Need more outlets, but understand it’s an older ship. Time to be amped!

Ship tip

It’s an older ship, but still great!

I thought BTs went against the Guest Code Of Conduct?

This use to be the norm of older cruisers in the Solarium, however, this hasn't been the case since Covid. Things are a'changin'!

I wish they would change the age in the solarium to 18 or better yet 21, and enforce it.

Appreciate your detailed review. Seems people (especially young people) have forgotten how to act in public (if they ever knew). Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of them.
