Review summary

Good not great. Boat needs work. Crew is awesome.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very streamlined and assigning boarding times to guests is a great idea. We were on the boat in less than 20 minutes after we parked the car.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining and specialty restaurants are great. The buffet is poor quality and taste. Cafe was a decent option outside dining hall times. Charging for room service seems greedy considering the $32/day gratuity (for 2). Unless you pay for Starbucks you won't find a good cup of coffee.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Long lines for Flowrider and water slides but they are great amenities. I do not use the pools on any cruise as they resemble a sardine can. Like I said this is every cruise, not exclusive to RC.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
It was good but nothing that stood out.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room and cabin steward were fantastic!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was clean but in desperate need of a facelift. Balcony/deck railings and decks themself all need a sanding and resurface.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Size and comfort as expected. Balcony was rusted and railing needed to be sanded and varnished.

Ship tip

Use the main dining room for meals versus the buffet.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Streamlined embarkation with no delays.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

Not much to do here. Heard if you take a taxi to the other side of the island (Christianstead) there were many more choices and much cleaner.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Very clean. Locals were friendly. Island tour was excellent and beaches were beautiful.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Island has plenty to do. Food at island bar/grille was better than the ship buffet. Pools and beaches were nice. $120 per person to use the water park is excessive considering the short time you are on the island. We got off 20 minutes after docking to let the crowd clear and then got on 30 minutes before departure, again to avoid the crowd (good thing, the line was almost all the way back to the island 15 minutes after we boarded). That gave us 5 1/2 hours to use the water park. My son was able to slide 8 times, pricey in my opinion.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very streamlined.
