Review summary

In the face of Maria's disasters, we embarked in San Juan. Royal Caribbean took care of us fabulously to transfer to and from airport to ship. Royal Caribbean provided us the ship for a day as a hotel prior to sailing, it was fantastic, sad to have had to give up sight seeing in San Juan but they made it a great transition to sailing the southern caribbean islands. The ship Adventure of the Seas is fabulous, the staff was great and friendly. Dining room and lounges were great! Could not have asked for a better time.

Did they provide you the day of the cruise or a day before? I’m only asking because someone said they stayed on the ship the day before. I called RCCL and they said no we won’t do that. There are so many looking for hotels. Thanks for posting.

So you saw San Juan before and after Maria? What unique timing. Not saying that in excitement, to see an area ruined by a natural event, just saying the chance to see this is rare.
