A relaxing vacation

Sail Date: March 08, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This was the 7th cruise my husband and I have been on, the 4th on the Adventure of the Seas! Obviously we love cruising and for a nice relaxing time, the Caribbean is the place to go. We highly recommend a balcony room so that you can maximize your private time. The staff on ships work very hard and you would never know because each one fo them practice customer service excellence! That is one of the best things and reasons we continue to cruise. Our bartenders and servers at the champagne bar and our main waitress were bar none the most fabulous! The ship has a great deal to offer with sports opportunities, adult and 'party' pools (a separate childrens one too) plethora of hot tubs, lots of fun games and things to do inside as well. The views on the ship are breathtaking and you can see the sunrise and set in the same spot:) The shows are excellent and every seat has a perfect view. Another interesting point is that the staff come from all parts of the world...amazing to know that we CAN all get along:) We have already booked our next cruise on the Oasis of hte Seas, one of the largest in the world!

Ship Quality
This shp is older, I think15 years but still has a luxurious feel!
Food and Dining
On previous cruises (our last one was 6 years ago) the food was better quality. I feel as if the options have gotten bigger so the quality is slighted a bit.
Service and Staff
The best ever!

San Juan, Puerto Rico
Barcardi Rum Tour
Bridgetown, Barbados
Would recommend the pirate ship shore excursion
Castries, St. Lucia
Beautiful beaches but be prepared for locals to offer to seelyoutheir wares all day
St. John's, Antigua
Add a tip. What was your favorite thing to do here?
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
The best! Shopping, beach and casino - just fun! without traveling far from the ship!!
Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.
No a large shopping district - Quaint - would recommend to go hang on the beach and relax for the day and then do the local shops.

Tip

A balcony is the best way to go to have more private space:)
