Great sites along the East Coast of USA
We had a great time on this cruise. Older passengers due to area of travel and timing (school being in session) which was a nice change of pace. Lovely sites and ports of call. My only complaint would be that the dock area to get onto and off of the ship didn't run smoothly, there was a lot of confusion about where to go and the people working in that terminal area (between the buses and the ship boarding/disembarking) were not at all friendly.

The ship is beautiful and there was lots to do. I think that the crew could have been a lot friendlier, often felt like you were inconveniencing them when you asked a question.
Food was adequate, but not spectacular.
Boarding and exiting processes were great and everything went smoothly.
Felt that it was very commercial. We spent a lot of money just booking this trip and didn't really appreciate all the plugs for the spas and restaurants that were at the beginning and ending of every show. Didn't like at all that the scheduled events for the guacamole making and sushi making ended up just being advertisements for those pay to eat restaurants. I thought that those were going to be lessons on what they were putting into and how to pick the best ingredients so that was a big disappointment. In fact a LOT of the "activities" during the day were demos from the spa trying to get you to buy services and then these food demos trying to get you to book at one of the 4 restaurants that you pay for and I think that is wrong.
Overall, we had a great time, just got sick of the constant sales plugs.
We have cruised with Carnival before but it was a few years back. I don't remember this feeling of being stuck in a situation with relentless sales pitches on that cruise line.

I think that the ship was too crowded. You couldn't get to the pool area because there were too many folks standing around same. Had to wait a very long time for elevators, customer service and excursion desk. Crew didn't seem to be very friendly at all. This could be because it was over spring break, but the family that we went with, it was their very first time cruising and she said they wouldn't be cruising again.
Our flight left late on the way home...it would have been good to do an excursion in this port!
seemed a bit run down at this port. Next time I would do an excursion that takes me away from the port a bit further.
Section in the Titanic museum is very small for all the hype that they do about same.
It's all uphill from the port. My husband struggled with that a bit, but it's very pretty!
Carnival Splendor
Lots of pool deck chairs and tables in pool area! No need to try to reserve, there always seemed to be plenty.
We did the trolley tour and it was very interesting. Shopping was great.
Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)
Beach is small. BBQ lunch hot items were cold. They charged for things that probably should have been complimentary
We wandered and shopped at this stop. People were very friendly and it feels "safe".
We did the Hop on Hop off Excursion at the end of the cruise...it was fun...but don't pack your sunscreen in your luggage! Keep it out to use that day
Majesty of the Seas
There is a whole other level for seating at the cafe, if the tables are full below, try going up the stairs.
We went out into the city. I felt very overwhelmed by the people and seemed very dingy. Sorry we didn't just book the waterfall climb there like we had talked about initially.
We did the bus excursion and then it took us to the airport. Was a nice way to end the vacation.
Beautiful weather and good balance with excursion in the morning and then shopping in the afternoon.
We didn't get to leave the ship because the seas were too rough.

you need to get there very early if you are going to do any of the trivia activities, lounge they hold that in is pretty small and those are packed!
