Ship was too crowded

Sail Date: April 06, 2015

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

I think that the ship was too crowded.  You couldn't get to the pool area because there were too many folks standing around same.  Had to wait a very long time for elevators, customer service and excursion desk.  Crew didn't seem to be very friendly at all.  This could be because it was over spring break, but the family that we went with, it was their very first time cruising and she said they wouldn't be cruising again.

Ship Quality
Rooms are very dated. Common areas were nice
Food and Dining
Daughter had a difficult time finding things she liked. Some of the food that was supposed to be hot was luke warm at best.
Service and Staff
Our table attendant was Hazel, she was great. Other staff didn't seem to be very friendly or helpful

Children's Programs Didn't access these
Onboard Activities
They seem to do the same things on this cruise line, cruise after cruise...they need to shake it up a bit. Didn't like the "sexiest man" contest....all young college boys and seemed a bit over the top to me....if they had young girls doing this kind of thing, people would be outraged.
Destinations and Excursions
Our daughters did the parasailing on Coco Cay. Although the brouchure says that it's a 45 min - 1 hr adventure, they only are actually up in the parasail for about 5 - 10 minutes...bit pricey for that length of time. Think if they are taking you to their island like that and our are capitive there for the day that it's ridiculous to charge for floating mats like that...what's next...charging for the beach chairs too?
Cabin / Stateroom Leave a tip or comment
Miami, Florida
We did the Hop on Hop off Excursion at the end of the was fun...but don't pack your sunscreen in your luggage! Keep it out to use that day
Nassau, Bahamas
We wandered and shopped at this stop. People were very friendly and it feels "safe".
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Beach is small. BBQ lunch hot items were cold. They charged for things that probably should have been complimentary
Key West, Florida
We did the trolley tour and it was very interesting. Shopping was great.

There is a whole other level for seating at the cafe, if the tables are full below, try going up the stairs.
