Wonderful Asian Cruise by dannygirl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sapphire Princess / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

overall the cruize was excellent, the excursions were awesome and even though we booked the excursions through the ship and thought they may have been expensive we found out they not and well worth it. would do it all again. we have booked another cruise for the end of the year. Next time will try and rest up a bit more as I was always on the go and was so tired when I got back.

Great SE Asian Cruise by drfair

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ovation of the Seas / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

A great experience. Very clean ship and the typical flawless Royal Caribbean experience. Lots to do although not as much opportunity to lay on the deck to enjoy the rays.

Painful by Ana89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sapphire Princess / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

Expected much more from Princess Cruise Line. As the ratings themselves show the experience was very bad and this was supposed to be one of the best since it was our honeymoon

Far East Cruise in November by bowman2001

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Volendam / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

First time with HollandAmerica Cruise Liner. Impressed with service on board. Will not discount another cruise with them. Would take more care with choosing tours, either with them, third party or private taxi. Far East was not a previous holiday destination but our brief excursions lead us to look at more inland holidays.

Best time onboard! by hides

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

Being our first cruise we were very happy with everything. Can’t wait to get on board again and go cruising. Royal Caribbean - we hope whichever cruise line we choose next, they can match your amazingness as you have set the bar very high!

Suez Canal is so cool - Last time I was in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt 1975 there were only 6 tombs, now over 60. UAE is a phenomenal urban development. by MarkDances

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Journey / Destination: Dubai & Emirates

Fascinating itinerary and great fellow passengers. Azamara has great staff to keep us happy. We visited the Regent Ship for dinner with friends when they caught up to us in Dubai. They have a beautiful ship, seeing the contrast in their additional star rating was remarkable.

Bigger is not better by sn2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Seabourn Encore / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

If you have never sailed on Seabourn' or their new larger ( 550 passenger) Encore class ships , you would give it the highest marks. Service is very good and it is a first class experience. That said, having sailed with Seabourn on 4 other occasions on the slightly smaller ( 400 passenger) Odyssey class ships I can see that teh smaller ships was a bit nicer. The Encore easily handles the extra passengers. I was in PH cabin 1120 . It seems that these cabins on the new ship are about 6 narrower but maybe a 3 ft longer in size...plenty of room. My stewardess service was excellent but long time Seabourn passengers will notice that passenger name recognition is sadly missing among the crew and food and beverage service has definatey slipped. That said, if you are new to Seabourn ( lets say from other cruise lines with big ships) you wil have an excellent experience.

Fantastic cruise Circle of Japan by rhondie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Diamond Princess / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

Excellent cruise, ship fantastic, ports of call interesting. Don’t think I can really fault anything regarding this cruise! Japanese Entertainment crew very amusing and interesting to talk to. Great choice of food at all venues. Weather wasn’t kind Typhoon LAN was around so very cloudy if not raining and the captain made the decision to bypass Toyama and head straight to Busan. Great decision, worked well and allowed us more time in Busan plus left the wind and high seas behind!,

Circle Japan by fgpottery1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Diamond Princess / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

Great way to visit Japan and just get a small taste of the culture. The shore trips were well organised and added to the overall enjoyment of the cruise.

A very good ship. by snowballs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

It wasn't too bad, but some places can be improved, such as food; music & activities programs. Royal Caribbean cruiseline was our favor one. Hopefully next time will have better experience.

MOST AMAZING 50TH BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER. by KiwiJules

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Sea Princess / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

Best Holiday I have ever had. So relaxing, yet could be as busy as you wanted it to be at the same time. Some Kids were on the cruise, they were all well behaved, no issues at all, A lot of older ppl, but that was what made it so much fun, hearing their stories and getting to know them. Also met so many wonderful ppl our age. Had such an awesome time. Thank You Sea Princess. Only bummer, I left a bag onboard, so now I just have to work out how to get it back.

Great Way to See Japan! by mbe2015

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

We selected this cruise based on the itinerary. We thoroughly enjoyed the Japan cities. With Shanghai as the end port, we extended our Asia trip by independently visiting Shanghai, Xi'an and Beijing for another 12 days.

Family Cruise by lentynam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

Loved the Japanese ports and staff. The speakers were unorganized and provided conflicting information. The visual presentations were below the level of high school PowerPoint presentation. The food was terrible. Activities were below average. Ship was average. We chose this trip particularly for the itinerary. Virtually everything beyond the itinerary and the staff was disappointing.

Interesting Adventure by Onthegoagain

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Maasdam / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

I didn't enjoy Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns as much as the west side cities of Darwin, Fremantle-Perth, Albany and down to Tasmania. Tasmania is excellent and the best ever!

Great time in Japan, just a few hiccups by nihongo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Diamond Princess / Destination: Asia & Indian Ocean

Overall our cruise experience was nothing less than spectacular. It's been over 40 years since I left Japan and coming back home was nice. Would have love to have done more and unfortunately our cruise was cut short one day due to the typhoon but it provided us with another day in Yokohama and we made the best of it. We are set to head back to the southern tip of Japan via Taiwan in Feb 2019. Hopefully a few excursions could be added with the features i mentioned earlier. Going back to Okinawa where i was born is going to be exciting.
