Review summary

Being our first cruise we were very happy with everything. Can’t wait to get on board again and go cruising. Royal Caribbean - we hope whichever cruise line we choose next, they can match your amazingness as you have set the bar very high!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The bars were top notch. Top Hat dining room Level 4 was amazing we loved every meal here Windjammer cafe always had enough choices to suit everyone’s needs!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness Centre has a great variety of machines and weight stations! Loved jumping on the treadmill and looking out at the water. The pools and spas were great too

Entertainment

5 out of 5
On our day of sailing the ice skating show “Ice under the Big Top” such a fabulous show! Really enjoyed it, just a shame that when the instructions were made not to video record people around us did, so there was staff always trying to tell them off in front of us!

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

We spent most of our days by the pool bars or at the bar lounges relaxing - At the Bolerous Lounge we had 3 lovely guys who made our cruise so much fun - professional yet able to have a laugh with them! And for our dining experience Alfeo & Dialene made the nights we ate with them great - top service from all

Ship Quality

Takes your head a few days to get around it, a few times being on the wrong side of the boat for your room but all in all a great layout! I thought the ship was well looked after - always someone cleaning the toilets and wiping down the hand rails and doors when we were walking around.

Cabin / Stateroom

For us - we didn’t plan on spending much time in our room - however found it clean and comfortable. The layout was great as it had a lot of room to move about - it was always clean and fresh & overall we were happy with the room. Having the large window looking out at the ocean too was a nice way to wake up in the morning, so I can only imagine a balcony room must be amazing!

Ship tip

Definitely see a show, book in for dinner if you haven’t got mytime dining and if you don’t have many photos of your family or partner try get a few good shots aboard! And just take it all in as the cruise seems to go too quickly!

Ports of call

Singapore Marina Bay

4 out of 5
Stayed at Mariner Bay Sands so did not do an excursion.

Penang (Pulau Pinang), Malaysia

4 out of 5
Did not do an excursion - walked out to have a look. Taxi drivers everywhere wanting to take you around the island. Good chance to take some photos of the boat from the Port!

Phuket, Thailand

Did not do an excursion. got straight in a Tuk tuk to see some friends at a Bar. Downside was we didn’t know we had to tender to get off the boat and waited roughly 2 hours before we could get on a small boat to take us to shore.

Disembarkation

As sad as it is to be leaving, another well planned event! Your told when your deck is leaving and where to go, you can see cleaning crew are ready for when we depart. Quick and speedy to think of how many people are getting off with you! Once through customs you are on your way!
