Panorama is getting better, BUT, still needs to improve by italbook239

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

LA ports has very few options. without flying to other states it's either Carnival of Princess. Parking can also be a problem sometimes.

Wonderful, fun, great weather. by mjlklabuda

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess / Destination: Mexico

We have sailed to Mexico many times. This was one of the best times. The Mariachis on the ship, the Whale watching, the nice people on board. All you have to do is ask someone where they are from and you meet wonderful people.

Nice room, good food, and a trip to nowhere by jpmwww

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

Only 40 or so miles from Long Beach to Catalina Island but we cruised all night to arrive there at 8AM. Understand the sea conditions didn't allow a disembarkation there but instead of going to Ensenada for extra time we again sailed around all day and night to get to Ensenada at dock at 8AM and leave at 4PM. Could take more than 6 or 8 hours to return to Long Beach but instead spent that night another day and night to return. Burned a lot of fuel to go nowhere and basically have a captive audience.

Disappointing by Lasttimeforus

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

This will most likely be our last cruise. Now that room service has a limited menu and isn’t included it took away half our reasons to go and get a balcony room. The motion sickness canceled out the benefits of having a balcony.

Great Port of Calls by safarilife

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Diamond Princess / Destination: Mexico

The ports on this cruise were a bit different from the usual Mexican cruises and as such they should be very popular for the frequent cruisers.

Disappointment by scharisse

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Bliss / Destination: Mexico

Disorganized, lack of communication for for embankment & disembarkation. Go on this cruise if you don’t mind standing in line for 3.5 hours to get on the ship.

Bad Communication, OK Cruise by CATravelGuy89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

Carnival is bad at communicating pre-cruise and average once you’re on the boat. Don’t count on watching tv in the stateroom - it’s only like 10 non-sales channels - and the wifi is slow. Prepare to unplug and go with the flow.

Disney Cruise Fun by cnuno21

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Mexico

We enjoyed it and we're planning to do it again maybe another disney cruise. My kids (boys) 8 and 6 years old had a great time at the kids club, food, snacks, pirate night, and dancing with the characters.

Nice ship, chilly weather (which RCI couldn't control!). by Cheryl154

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas

Nice itinerary and ship. January is a bit too chilly for those looking for warmer weather. We really couldnt hang out outside upper deck until the third day.

It was just okay.... by dstuff142

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Radiance / Destination: Mexico

I think the 5 day 4 nights is the right amount of time on this ship. You can do enough to not be board and it's not too long to be extra disappointed.

First time on princess by ryancreations

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess / Destination: Mexico

Great time, nice ship, and fantastic staff. Stick to trying speciality dining as the main dining service is very slow. First time trying princess and it’s been a good medium between Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. The princess app is very tough to navigate. However, the medallion is fantastic.

Some areas fun, much improvement needed by RussRS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

It was a great trip catching up with friends. I really enjoyed the stage shows. The dancers were fantastic and the singers were great. The visuals were also fantastic. Eating at the buffet was our favorite option…until we found the Pig and Anchor smoked meats lunch on the last day. I will find that the first day next time!

1st (but not last) cruise on Celebrity by jotuomisto1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: Mexico

We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our first cruise on Celebrity. We recently sailed 2 cruises on another line and thought that line was high end, but this cruise on Celebrity matched it! We love days at sea, so only 2 ports was fine & both were new experiences for us. The stay in Cabo was overnight, so we had 1 & 1/2 days there, which was really nice. Passengers were also the most friendly of any cruise we’d been on, we met so many great people! WONDERFUL WEEK-we hated to leave the ship, the staff & new friends!
