This is a lovely ship and provided lots of entertainment and activity. There was always something wonderful to eat and lots of ship area to explore even when the weather was not nice.

The Ms Oosterdam was confortable. It was large enough to offer a lot of varitety while being small enough to get familar with the your fellow guests and crew staff. State rooms were were good size. Beds were firm and confortable. Balcony had two chairs and a side table.

1.Room with a 14'( or may be even smaller) boxed TV, every time I am in the room watching TV, I thought I was in my grandma's kitchen... 2. Foods were terrible, buffet and dinning. only specialty restaurants have decent food, but you have to pay for it. 3. Only last night show was worth to watch, it is called Lights, Camera, Music

We had a Deluxe 2 Bedroom Penthouse, so - our rating is a little tained towards the 'excellent' side! Separate breakfast/lunch dining was great! Everything about this ship was great- only drawback (if I had to pick one) is the Italian Restaurant was so-so! Other than that - the service was outstanding and the ship was beautiful! This was a port intensive cruise, and not a ship intensive! So, with that being said - paradise was GREAT! Service was GREAT!!! This was my 22nd cruise (7+ days) - It's going to be hard to beat this one!!!! Wonderful Time - Great Cruise!!!!!!! Would highly recommend!

Ship was too large for our taste, too crowded in the buffet at lunch and dinner times.

Getting old, seemed to have engine problems

The public area's are well maintained and nice. The balcony stateroom we were in is in need of refurbishment.

Ship needs refurbishing. Food quality needs an upgrade,meat tough, sauces not flavored well All robes need replacing (worn out)

The ship was beautiful, the cabins and balconies a good size and the staff was EXCELLENT!!!

The cruise was fun because we made it fun. The buffet was not very good, hand sanitizer people always wanted to spray your hands even if you insisted you just washed them, and there was not a lot of on board entertainment (usually only one thing happening at a time). Our stateroom steward go upset because we did not want him to clean our room and the photo gallery was small and always congested.

Great food, great staff, but limited access for handicapped guests. (I was traveling with a couple - one was not able to walk and required the use of his scooter to move about).

never being on a ship before, i highly rate this ship... it was more than i ever expected a ship to be...

Horrible customer service, loud construction and maintenance going on the ships common areas during peak passenger usage. Fumes and dust from chemicals used in stripping and sanding done by the Holland America maintenance personnel, of wood in common areas during peak passenger usage. Passengers not allowed to use some of the workout equipment at the gym unless they paid a fee. Staterooms dirty and run down, rust, mold, and dust. Foul smells emanating from many of the cabins. Furniture and carpets badly stained and in need of cleaning. Throughout the cruise, the staff would suddenly decide to take away our privileges or our opportunity to disembark at a port because of "unsafe conditions". For example, the captain decided to skip two of the five Hawaiian ports because of "unsafe conditions". I have at least 30 witnesses that can testify there were no "unsafe conditions" at the time this excuse was being used. We were treated like inmates in a prison from the time we stood in line to enter the ship for the first time to the time we disembarked. Staff attitude and behavior varied from artificially saccharine and patronizing to mostly hostile and threatening. They shut down the few bars and the casino somewhere around 12-12:30. If you were fortunate, they might stay open until 1am. They closed the pool for most of the cruise because of "unsafe conditions". They shut down usage of most of the workout equipment that was free because of "unsafe conditions".

cruise was good. liked amount of time spent at ports. hated the lack of night shows/entertainment.

Very Clean, Classy, Great Service in All areas. We Loved it!

Ship felt almost brand new, very well kept up, everthing immaculately maintained.

I understand the ship is to have a facelift next Spring. This is a must to keep it competitive with all the others out there.

Really nice ship with plenty of room for everyone, for a long trip, a bigger boat with more amenities would be my choice next time like the Oasis or the Allure if they ever get to the Pacific. Extremely clean ship with a great blended crew, all polite and courteous
