Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

The ship was beautiful, the cabins and balconies a good size and the staff was EXCELLENT!!!

Pros: The length, 14 days, and the Destination, Hawaii!

Cons: The cabin doors--very narrow, smallest I've ever had--had to fold Dad's walker & turn it sideways to get it through the door.

Recommends Sapphire Princess? Yes!

Ship Quality
Beautiful lighting throughout the ship and very clean everywhere!
Food and Dining
Very good food with just a few exceptions that were still good, just not "very" good!
Cabin / Stateroom
Beds were very comfortable and it was the first time we ever had a true queen size bed that wasn't 2 twins put together! Lots of space in the cabin to unpack all the clothes, etc., we brought for 2 weeks.
Service and Staff
Never had such a great head waiter--and WHAT A COOK!!!
Princess really had a lot of activities (8 days at sea!). We didn't take full advantage as it seems we only wanted to eat, drink and sleep--the ship was so comfortable that we were easily put to sleep!
Hilo, Hawaii
Volcano National Park
Don't Miss: Thurston's Tube
Nawiliwili, Kauai
Waimea Canyon
Don't Miss: Waimea Canyon
Honolulu, Oahu
Pearl Harbor
Don't Miss: The Arizona and The Willows Restaurant
Lahaina, Maui
Haleakala Crater
Don't Miss: The beach--anywhere
