Enjoyed the ports plus spent 4 extra days in Honolulu, I complained about the oceanview cabin being fully obstructed for us but they said that was too bad, we should not have used to reserve cruise

Low Standards by karenandeli

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Hawaii

That particular ship needs upgrades or should only be used for shorter cruises that cost less until it is upgraded

Perfect for first visit to Hawaii by rabbott

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

3 days of touring could be rearranged so as not to be on a bus all day. First day maybe only Dole, then the others.

Wonderful itinerary, not the best cruise line by lksunshine

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Not the best cruise that we have taken. We choose this trip with the itinerary in mind, knowing that the ship didn't receive the best reviews. We liked being able to see all the island on our first trip, would have been nice to stay in each port longer since it was a short trip to next port. Customer service was horrible! They could have solved 2 of the problems very easily, but instead they made the matter worse and anger us more. And it should never take 3 phone calls to get the air conditioning fixed in a cabin!!

Lessons learned on Hawaii cruise & on land by shayvaughan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Eclipse / Destination: Hawaii

Love Hawaii and Vancouver. There are lots to see. But, here's where I learned a lesson. A wildfire broke out at 9am in the mountains on the island of Maui & the roads were closed on that side at about 1pm. We had to be rescued by Pacific Whale Foundation after the harbor we were diverted to was evacuated. Celebrity did not "notify" us until 4:47pm. Advice: turn on local radio, do not rely on Celebrity to make you aware or resolve your issue because you can't get thru on the emergency ph# during an actual emergency. Ge the cell ph# of others onboard to utilize during emergencies.

Dreaming of pineapples, sunsets and volcanoes by steelergirlinfl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Eclipse / Destination: Hawaii

I would go again on this trip. It was a "stay"cation and a vacation wrapped into one trip. Celebrity did not disappoint and made every day one to remember.

Hawaiian island cruise by griffjm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

We booked all of our excursions outside of the ship w much better prices. I did a lot of research ahead of time, read reviews etc. This cruise is the easiest way to see much of Hawaii w/o lots of additional flights and hotels. I think NCL knows this and therefore doesn’t need to try and lure customers w great food or extra amenities.

Worth it, but irritating at times. by kylieelrick

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Ovation of the Seas / Destination: Hawaii

All in all, we enjoyed the cruise. We do not recommend our actual room, 10232 due to noise they can't fix, but did like the room structure. If your child is under 42 inches, I would recommend another cruise as there isn't a lot for them to do on the boat and there are many days at sea. Do not book private excursions on Maui nor Kona as you tender and cannot control what time you arrive!

Great experience, great people & relaxing cruise. by iamdalef

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Overall an excellent way to visit the islands of Hawaii. Relaxing. We snorkeled in Maui. Great experience for experienced & novice alike. We did cancel 2 excursions as the snorkeling required more experience. Cancellation was easy and we appreciated the care taken.

A very memorable and beautiful Pacific Cruise! by cynguen36

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: Hawaii

This was a honeymoon for us. We participated in many activities. We loved the glass blowing class, history presentations of comedy, and trivia. We enjoyed the casino, piano concert with the celebrity orchestra, table tennis, and all the music! We would do this again!! Thank you!!

9/13/19 Vancouver to Hawaii on the Celebrity Solstice by dhamm72

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: Hawaii

This is a trip we are glad we took, but probably wouldn’t take again. On the plus side, it is a relatively inexpensive way to visit Hawaii, which is hideously expensive. Room and food cost us about $180 per person per day on the boat. Comparable accommodations and meals would probably cost at least twice as much on land. Not to mention we saved some on air fare. Flights to Vancouver are much less than flights to Hawaii. In addition, we got to visit three islands, one with two stops. On the downside, tendering at Kona and Lahaina limit how much time you have to visit these ports. There are some sights we would like to see, especially on Maui, that would better be done while staying there. The first day in Lahaina the sea was pretty rough and getting on and off the tenders was challenging, especially for people with mobility issues.

Trip to Paradise by seafish1319

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: Hawaii

Great cruise. Loved Hawaii. 6 days at sea in a row is both relaxing and tedious. Probably more fun on the Ovation with more things to do.

Fun in the Sun in Hawaii by codysmom5732507

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

One big thing we found very "Poor" was the choice of music around the ship .... especially in the buffet. When you have so many older people onboard you should be choosing more easy listening music, as we found the music actually very annoying...... just saying
