Hawaii Cruise Reviews

We love Holland America Lines and love their ships, entertainment, naturalists and astronomers they have on board. The whole experience is amazing! HAL is the best cruise line for my age group 65+. Retired Seniors who have time to travel and see the world. We loved our stateroom attendants Abdul and Ricky, cabin 7035. These two made an outstanding team and took care of all our needs. We especially loved the comedian Marc Yaffee. He had wonderful shows with clean humor. We already miss Lester at the World Stage Bar, Tommy at the Gelato, and Firman and Merta at our table #21 in the dining room. They were always so attentive and happy. I did have a mishap however, and Ira at guest services took care of it and made my whole again. This is one of the best HAL cruises I have been on since my first cruise in 1994.

Wonderful cruise! Would love to sail again over and over again. Met a lot of wonderful friends and the food were fantastic.

Hawaii is beautiful. The ship is just okay. We didn’t have to wait at meals in spite of the number of passengers. The shows didn’t feel crowded

We are glad to have seen Hawaii for the first time but would not take another NCL cruise of the islands. Our time and money would be better spent staying in a resort with better accommodations and food.

The excursions in the islands that we visited off and outside of the ship were beautiful the overall ship experience was not. It is overrated. The staff were lazy, the food was lousy.

Hawaii is a beautiful place and the cruise allowed us to experience a little bit of all of Hawaii.

I never thought I would get to Hawaii and by doing the cruise we got to see a little bit of everything. Now, if I ever go back, I know what I like and dislike about each island.

Glad that there were no days at sea The ship is small so we were in ports with no other ships which was nice The sights were spectacular The room was a nightmare.

We had an all around horrible experience. Why the islands are gorgeous and worth a visit, we will never cruise again. The ship was one disappointment after another - and such a waste of money.

The worst! Staff unfriendly, ship run down and dirty. Not worth the money spent at all! Even the pool deck was closed when the sun went down! Staff told us this is the cruise for “ newlyweds or nearly dead’s”

There were a lot of sea days but there was always something to do. Bora Bora was the highlight of the whole cruise. It is an amazing place where pictures do not do justice. It is some of the most beautiful water in the world. In spite of not being able to dock in Pago Pago and Apia it was the trip of a lifetime for us. They substituted the big island of Hawaii for those two ports. It was nice but disappointing because we had been to Hilo and Kona before.

We had an excellent and unforgettable experience with Emerald Princess, our second time with Princess. We appreciate all the efforts that you made to ensure every one received satisfactory service. We hope that the virus will go away soon and Princess will continue its sailing across the world safely.

Great Staff and services. Great Entertainment. Was not over-crowded. Great way to visit Hawaii and have time to relax and enjoy a great cruise experience with the 15 day experience.

The staff made the cruise experience most excellent - - the waiters at Vines, the dining room staff and especially our cabin steward.

Ship getting tired but service and quality of the food more than compensates for it

This was our second time for this 15 day cruise. We enjoy the many sea days. We met some great people and even though the food was overall not very good, we had a great trip and would definitely do it again
