Review summary
We love Holland America Lines and love their ships, entertainment, naturalists and astronomers they have on board. The whole experience is amazing! HAL is the best cruise line for my age group 65+. Retired Seniors who have time to travel and see the world. We loved our stateroom attendants Abdul and Ricky, cabin 7035. These two made an outstanding team and took care of all our needs. We especially loved the comedian Marc Yaffee. He had wonderful shows with clean humor. We already miss Lester at the World Stage Bar, Tommy at the Gelato, and Firman and Merta at our table #21 in the dining room. They were always so attentive and happy. I did have a mishap however, and Ira at guest services took care of it and made my whole again. This is one of the best HAL cruises I have been on since my first cruise in 1994.Embarkation

The Koningsdam has an excellent Captain...Henk Draper. Because of him the rest of the crew is happy, congenial and always willing to help. A great crew comes from the top.
