Subtracting the long flights over and back and the fiasco with booking excursions and dinner reservations online, the cruise was very good. I had a nice time and met some wonderful people on board. The crowds in the major cities were unexpected. The last time I was there in 2009, I could walk freely in the cities. It was hard to keep up with the guides at times. The ship (Viking Sea) is very nice and I liked the layout. The food was hit or miss but mostly good.

Had an enjoyable & memorable much needed vacation and looking forward to planning next cruise.

We booked our cruise through American Airlines - I'm not sure I would do this again. It felt like we were on our own and received different responses whenever I called. I had to figure things out on my own and honestly, didn't feel that our rep had our best interest at heart. Really disappointing and feel our rep could have helped us, such as the transportation to/from the port. We ended up spending double on transportation than we had to, which was greatly disappointing.

Beautiful scenery and nice cabin. The staff does not help you at all nor can they understand you! The difference from a NCL line and the Princess line is Princess you are important and they will do everything to make you happy. The last day everyone on our floor received chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine except us. When my husband tried to get ours no one understood what he was saying. He was not happy with NCL!

It was okay, but I WILL NEVER book another cruise excursion through United. I will stick to Virgin I think from here on out.

Disappointed that the Portland UK port was cancelled. We had a tour to Stonehenge planned. Very disappointed that all three ports in Scotland were cancelled. We had two prior trips planned to Scotland that had to be cancelled. This was our third planned trip. My cousin decided to join us on this trip to bring her father's ashes to Scotland. On the day we were scheduled to be in Kirkwall would have been her father's 90th birthday and that's where she planned to lay his ashes to rest. Very sad and disappointed.

The Rotterdam is a beautiful ship, and the fjords of Norway are visually overwhelming. The crew and service staff were outstanding.

All in all worth every cent and the 3 years that we had to wait because of covid. I would like to see NCL drop 2 stops and extend the time in Rome and Naples by 2 days. Allow you more time to visit the sites.

The cruise was great. Our specialty dining was mixed. I had a bid problem with the casino.

We lucked out on the weather. Over the week, we encountered two half-day bouts of rain. We even saw the sun several days during the cruise. Beautiful ship - Viking Venus!!

It’s like airlines booking planes without pilots praying for miracle. Celebrity is filling ships to brink without ensuring adequate staffing. Inexperienced and understaffed they are doing their best. But celebrity is charging high fares expect and demand better.

We've always heard that Regent is the best of the best but did not find it to be so. We were disappointed with the quality and selection of the food in the restaurants and they closed too early. We had three excursions canceled at the last minute, making us feel that there was not good value. We also had issues with the airline arrangements.

The Carnival Pride is a lovely ship. The crew and staff are remarkable. The ports of call are beautiful (except skip Santorini) and fairly easy to navigate. I would travel on the Pride again.

I've sailed on many Carnival cruises and felt that on this particular cruise the food was adequate whereas in the past I felt the food was excellent.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary on this cruise. We had a great time and really enjoyed being on the ship. The crew was amazing, smiling faces and friendly greetings everywhere we went. We would recommend this ship and this itinerary.

We were always greeted with a friendly face; and, the staff was more than willing to assist. The staff in the Teppayaki restaurant went over and above to make my birthday celebration special. I'm normally ready to go home after 4 or 5 days at sea but this cruise was different. I was not ready to go home. Everything about the ship made me very comfortable. An enjoyable and memorable experience that I will never forget and will always treasure.

We loved the first week of our cruise. Tested positive for Covid (my guess is we picked it up in Rome) first day of 2nd week and had to stay in cabin the entire 2nd week. To their credit, they took good care of us. Delivered dining room menu every day for us to choose from, checked in a few times a day to see if we needed anything.

It was the trip of a lifetime and our friends and family helped make it that! Steve Ashworth was on top of everything all the time and odyssey of the seas was magnificent.

Would do again, going to take the kids so they could experience all of what the cruise offers.
