Don't cruise Europe- just go on your own by alitracy4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

As a veteran cruiser who has been on 8-10 cruises, it has changed for the worst over time. We would never cruise Europe again, and were not very impressed with NCL.

Fantastic Baltic by yts

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Vision of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Very glad I went on this cruise to the Baltic Sea. Amazing experience! Would have like a few more hours on some of the ports but to get a taste of the new places it was enough will have to do again in the future!

Lovely Mediterranean Cruise by rkaplan1955

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We had a fun time, but we would have preferred specific dinner times as well as being seating at the same table every evening so that we could get to know our waiters/waitresses as well as other guests. The entertainment should have had fixed times in the evening such as 7:30 and 9:30 and not 8 or 10:30.

Wonderful time on a Wonderful Ship by cynfulllll

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Koningsdam / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Enjoyed the whole 14 days. Staff and locations could not have been better. Just be prepared for cold and rain since that is the norm in Norway. We had several clear sunny days but was told this is not the norm.

Wonderful Baltic Cruise for Anniversary by ahyro500

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

We had a wonderful Baltic cruise for our 1st wedding anniversary! The ports of call were all wonderful despite a little rain, the onboard entertainment was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Be aware of the nickel and dime-ing that goes along with any cruise line (exorbitant drink packages, photos and specialty restaurants), but we had a wonderful cruise.

Incredible Mediterranean Excursion by mattandming

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Royal Princess / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Excellent overall. A cruise like this is great to explore different countries and islands in a short period of time. I would like to see more accommodations for vegans and healthier options. I would recommend.

Great trip could not be more pleased by godfrey81

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

I thought this was a very costly cruise when I booked it but after experiencing the way Regent runs Their cruises , the quality of the ship, the food and beverage services, the quality of the excursions, And most importantly the friendliness and attitudes of all of the staff I feel it was worth the cost

Cunard Class by witchofendor

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Queen Victoria / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

A class experience all the way. Cunard provides the excellent British nautical atmosphere a cruise should have. Great service, great food, without the gimmicks.

A Very Favorable Surprise by seafarow

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Basically only have one complaint, that being it was too short, another 5-6 days would have been very acceptable. RCL met and exceeded all expectations on this one, overall a great trip. Thanks

Nice, but could be improved. by obia

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Independence of the Seas / Destination: Europe

Good cruise with bad weather, too cold, and poor food. Weather was not the fault of the cruise. The food could have been much better. I was used to finding the hand carved roast beef sandwiches for a late night snack, it was not available on this cruise. See my comments about the food in the food and drink section.

Independence of the Seas by VernonCT06066

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Independence of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

This is a big ship and it is easy to feel like you are one in a million onboard. we have been on this ship twice and like the ammenities (pool, fitness room, spa) but found the onboard activities to be a little lackluster for families with teens. The food in the main dining room was actually better than the paid dinner I did at Giovinnis. I had a charge on my statement that they gave me that was wrong (this is the third time this has happened with RC) went to the guest services desk before trying to disembark and the line is a mile long with people (I assume) in a similar situation. Have to dispute it with my credit card company. Frustrating that this continues to happen. They blame Steiner (the spa) for not picking up on the fact that the services I had were prepaid but someone is dropping the ball.

Fair. Good accommodations and service, but lousy for and too many extra charges. by Tuesday07182017

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Independence of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Good service and accommodations. Poor food. Too many nickel & dimes charges. Le Havre too remote. Bruges was the best place to visit. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I'll stick with Oceania.

DECENT CRUISE... HAVEN POOL AREA OVERRATED... NOT ALL SERVICES WERE STELLAR by kiki1017

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

PRETTY GOOD CRUISE, BUT NOT THE EXCEPTIONAL VISION WE WERE SOLD. THE TOURS OFFERED THROUGH NCL COULD'VE BEEN BETTER. SOME GUIDES HAD A TOUGH TIME W/THE LANGUAGE BARRIER. HAVEN RESTAURANT STAFF WERE STELLAR. ESPECIALLY RODNEY! BON VOYAGE!

It was truly a memorable experience for my whole family. My kids had a blast on the cruise!!! by Cruiser18174411

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was our first family cruise and it was absolutely wonderful. The ports of call were a good combination, although it would be nice if another part of France was visited to allow 2 days for each country. Over all, it will definitely make our family plan another cruise in the future.

Not our best cruise by IDCruiser008

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This was a really disappointing cruise, and we will likely not be sailing with Royal Caribbean again. It felt like the people on the cruise are overworked, or something... they did not treat us as though this was a special vacation or like they had any pride in their work. I felt like I was the one trying to cheer them up.

Not quite there. by freho

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Meraviglia / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Yacht Club in itself was an oasis within a busy ship. Good, but not excellent service and the experience in itself was let down by lacklster food, paricularly when it came to fish and shellfish. Cabin was miniscule.

My 2017 Cruise by vicmendes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Meraviglia / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Nice ship, too many people, average entertainment and food. Limited menu at dinner. I was expecting more, since it was a new ship. The staff was fantastic, except one older waiter.

Overall, the trip was amazing. We already booked our next cruise on the Edge. Unfortunately it's not until February 2019. Hopefully we will book another one before then. We plan on doing all our future cruise with Celebrity.

QE Arts and Literary Cruise of British Isles by Ecraft66

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Queen Elizabeth / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

Cunard does it right. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect holiday. Nothing was impossible. Nothing was too much trouble. Nothing was denied. We were never told no. It was our first cruise on one of the queens but it won't be the last.

Nice European Cruise by M3BABE1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Poesia / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

THEY NEED TO TURN ON THE HEAT IN THE HOT TUBS AND GET MUCH BIGGER ONES. PERSONNEL SHOULD BE TRAINED TO BE MORE FRIENDLY. THE PORTS ARE GREAT WHICH IS WHY I CHOOSE THIS CRUISE.
