Awesome and totally worth it. by RajashreeSuppiah

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Really had a wonderful time and thought that free style cruising was a brilliant idea. Kept thinking it would work great for my family (big) who all have their own ideas and plans. This way everyone gets to do their own thing and meet up at meals or other pre-determined events nly.

great cruise by LindaC

Ship: MSC Sinfonia / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The crew were very nice and the entertainment was great. Enough food all day. I liked that the ship was small, thats\'s why we chose it. We didn't want to feel lost on a big liner

Ship was too big for our liking by MeganK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was OK overall, although the pool space was much too small for the number of people aboard. It wasn't a significant factor since we only spent one day on the ship while at sea. We had cruised previously on a different line and were more impressed with their overall space and cleanliness but thought the staterooms on the Epic were better.

Absolutely Wonderful!!! by JanetA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We sailed the Mediterranean on the Epic in August and it was a fantastic experience. The ship was spotless and the staff went over and above to make sure your had everything you could possible want or need. The ports of call were great and so were the excursions. The entertainment on ship was never ending and varied for everyone from 8 to 80. Restaurants were freestyle so whenever you felt like having dinner was fine. We never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for a table - even at the busiest dinner times. Food was very good and had a varied menu every night. I cannot give enough praise to the crew and ship in general. It ran like a well-oiled machine and I don't think there was a single person of the 4,000 passengers who would disagree!!!

A Great Cruise! by SharonL68555843

Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was beautiful, clean, and new. The food was not very good, except the upscale restaurants that you paid extra for were better than excellent.

A Cruise with Problems by Denny

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Independence of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The staff are excellent in the cabins, the dining facilities and throughout the ship. Do not book on this ship, Independence of the Seas, if you need to use the internet during your cruise. It very seldom worked. Guest services was continuously giving credits to everybody using it throughout the cruise. Also, since they send everything through their corporate facilities they block many secrured websites and all sites like Skype. In addition, the entertainment (nightly shows) were not very good. We actually walked out on some they were so bad. This included both the cruise line's singers and dancers as well as the guest entertainers. As the cruise went along, fewer people came each night. Finally, the ship seems to cater to families with children. Out of 4300 passengers there were over 1000 children. Towards the end of the cruise, they started putting employees in the elevators since the kids were playing in them (pushing every floor and holding them so people could not get an elevator). Finally, they treeat formal dress up nights in the dining room as optional. When we brought formal attire and saw people in shirts and shorts, we were shocked as every cruise we have been on the attire was a requirement, not optional. So if you do not want to dress up, you may not need to pack those formal clothes.

Other than a broken pipe on the first day, the ship was just unbelievable. The food was delicious, the restaurants were fabulous and the evening entertainment was superb. The Captain was hilarious, Gabby was informative and Fun and Gio ruled.

Great cruise by JenyF

Very stylish ship and enjoyed my room. The food service could be better and the staff could be friendlier. Prices of alcoholic beverages were a little bit more expensive than I had originally anticipated.

The Epic not so Epic by Mckay

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

I am an optimist, I am usually a very positive person but it was hard to be positive with the Epic. The food and entertainment was mediocre except for the restaurants and shows you had to pay for. Except for the blue man group which was fabulous and included. The cirque show ($70.00 for a couple) was incredible and worth the price if I hadn't already paid $3000 for my wife and I to go on this cruise. I spent a good deal of time in the Casino and the Ships cut of all the tournaments and cash poker games is ridiculous. Don't do any of the shore excursions, do a little research before and find out what you want to see. Europe has an incredible train network and in most ports the trains are close and can take you to the destinations you want for very cheap.

Liberty of the Seas was anawesome ship! A lttle harder to navigate due to the ice skating rink, but with touch screen information pannels near every elevator help was just at your fingertips. I loved yhe Promenade area. Olive & Twist always had great entertainment.

Great Cruise! by ChrisT1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship is older, but delightful. The Promenade is a wonderful touch with all the shops & activities (the cafe is a nice touch). The room felt big & there was plenty of closet spaces. The balcony had blinders to increase privacy. The Cigar Lounge was nice. I like that there were many designated spots for smokers. The gym is small, but adequate. I received a terrific massage at the spa - which was nice. Free access to jacuzzi/whirlpool is nice. A nice touch is being able to watch the captain & crew steer the ship.
