We sailed the Mediterranean on the Epic in August and it was a fantastic experience. The ship was spotless and the staff went over and above to make sure your had everything you could possible want or need. The ports of call were great and so were the excursions. The entertainment on ship was never ending and varied for everyone from 8 to 80. Restaurants were freestyle so whenever you felt like having dinner was fine. We never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for a table - even at the busiest dinner times. Food was very good and had a varied menu every night. I cannot give enough praise to the crew and ship in general. It ran like a well-oiled machine and I don't think there was a single person of the 4,000 passengers who would disagree!!!

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Several buffets\, a supper club\, and two other restaurants were all included and we found the food and service to be excellent. There are also specialty restaurants which I heard were also excellent\, but we were happy enough with the ones included so never tried them - except for the Cirque dinner show. The food that night was dissappointing but the show was very good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
to be fair\, we were touring every day and could hardly make it thru dinner without falling asleep. But we did attend the art auction\, and a few of the shows and the casino. Every one of them was fun. Don't have a bad thing to say!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
ALL of the staff were wonderful. Archie\, our steward was fantastic\, if I could remember all their names\, I would mention each and everyone of them for their great service and overall pleasant personalities.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very large and at full capacity\, but never felt crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Yes\, the staterooms are tiny\, but the use of space is very innovated and we never felt cramped - we had a balcony so that might have helped.

Pros: Entertainment\, Art Auction\, Staff were all above and beyond expectations

Cons: never could get a chair by the pool - or anywhere on the deck!

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!
