Great ports, great ship by maracrespo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Symphony of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Overall the ship was great but the food was really disappointing. I ended up eating hot dogs for lunch almost every day that we were on board. Skipped breakfast almost every single day. Worst food we've had ever on RC cruises but otherwise the ship was great. Ports were must sees!

A trip of a lifetime by joecorso

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

We had a wonderful time, and we enjoyed the balance of sea days and port days. The service was excellent except for the dinning room service. We constantly had to ask for everything. We just didn’t like the unavailability of good tasting water. We didn’t realize we had to buy a beverage package to get good water. The ports were worth the trip.

Disappointed by MinjaNam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Costa Deliziosa / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

I really disappointed that the shore excursion in Dubrovnik Tour what I pre-applied and paid. (Order Number : 744651, for 3 people) The guide didn't show up on that date and time. I already claimed via phone about this but they never answered to me. They said they would answer to me after check local travel agent, but they never got back to me about the result. I mentioned them for refund. This experience makes me that I will be never on board Coasta again. And overall service also worst among my cruise experience tens of times.

First Time European Cruise was a comfortable and enlightening experience. by dwate

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We have been on two cruises now, but I am not sure we are "cruise people". We don't really like to take part in most of the onboard activities, clubs, specialty restaurants, casino or shows. We did enjoy most of our meals in the Dining Room with exceptional service from our server, Aleksandra, and our Room was very nice with extraordinary service from our Steward, Nazareth. We enjoy the convenience of having a room to stay every night with transportation to different ports of call, but we don't like paying for services and shows we do not want. In room "first run" movies would be nice, and we would like being able to bring our own wine or drinks. We don't like paying extra for soft drinks or wine unless you buy the extremely expensive passes.

Never again! by sdwelch

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Lirica / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Overall very disappointing. Although we enjoyed the shows and entertainment, between the sewage smell and the terrible experiences throughout the week we are not likely to cruise with MSC again. One thing I would add is that compared to other cruises, there was little information about the excursions. The TV showed lots of pictures but not what excursion would take you to the places you see. There was no meetings in advance about the various excursions or details. This could have been handled much better. The WORST part of the ports is that there was an additional charge to take the shuttle to town! I have never had to pay for this before-and it was expensive at that!

Great itinerary! Ship needs updating... by zpagliere

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Vision of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Vision needs updating. Carpets are old and cabins look dated. The food was much better last year when we sailed the British Isles. Mikonos and Santorini are ,frankly, over rated. Very commercialized and little to offer in historical sites. Was looking forward to Kusadasi,Turkey and instead got Mikonos. Try to book private tours, instead of cruise ship tours. Get smaller group and more to see as well as better guides.

Lovely 12 Day Mediterranean Cruise by rnadler33382248

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Eclipse / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Pace yourself. While a 12 day excursion, visiting 10 ports looks great, you can quickly become tired. We paid for only 3 excursions. They were all very good but I also enjoyed my time with my significant other to explore the the ports on our own. Unless you are addicted to the Internet, avoid the high ship charges and check in the various ports or buy a coffee somewhere in the port for free access. If you like to walk and explore ports on your own, you can still have a wonderful experience.

Amazing Mediterrean Voyage by LoveOceania

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Riviera / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This cruise was a total delight. The ports of call were the primary reason we selected this particular cruise line and the Ancient Vignettes itinerary and we were not disappointed in any way. Oceania knows how to take care of its passengers in a first class manner. Everything went like clockwork as far the planning and execution of excursions. It would have been nice if some of the excursions were started later in the day, but we realize that to a large extent, the timing is dictated by the port and scheduled departures to the next port. The food is excellent and the crew is totally customer oriented. Bravo Oceania!

Fabulous Italy and Greece by ddbaker1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Oosterdam / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This cruise covers the beginning of civilization, A to Z. There were so many highlights starting in Rome with the Coliseum, Palatine hill and the Vatican than going to Naples and seeing Pompeii . All of the Greek Isles were unique and seeing the Acropolis and the temples to the Greek gods were amazing.

October 2018 Cruise October 3-October 10 by Navychaps1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Great Cruise! Entertainment is NOT family friendly in the Epic Theater! Otherwise we enjoyed the cruise. Ports were generally amazing and we had great experiences at most. We are sailing Epic again in the Spring, really hoping for entertainment changes, though we doubt it will happen. Much more to do on this ship than go to the Epic Theater.

Really Nice Cruise by Archer44

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Celebrity Reflection / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Easy on and easy off! The only problem that I had was trying to convince the cruise staff that I did not need to arrive at the Rome airport 2+ hours in advance for my TrenItalia train to Florence!

Excellent trip however suggest strongly eliminating the Ibiza visit... boring & not worth the effort !! by DNUNDR

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Reflection / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Overall, the cruise was excellent, very friendly & helpful staff! Love the Solarium option! However Having cruised quite often we are disappointed that the Dining room food quality & selection has dropped off considerably!! Obviously this is due to to the constant staff promoting the select expensive restaurant options at the dining room entrance... annoying! If this is the marketing plan, It will affect my decision re cruises in future!!!

Fantastic time in Europe. However placed in rooms in front of boat which made trip comproised by diovinel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Reflection / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Great cruise EXCEPT for room placement i.e. very first room in front of ship and traveling companions placed on opposite side of ship. And we booked over a year before the cruise. Somehow our rooms were changed from the time we booked to when we sailed.
