Beautiful Canada by kkhouse

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

Nice itinerary if you are looking for some different landscape and ports, and chance to see some nice fall foliage. Canada ports were full of friendly and welcoming people - unlike several Caribbean ports where you get pounced on by locals trying to sell you things as soon as you walk off the ship. If you are looking for a quieter crowd with very few children, this was a good cruise for that. We saw less than 10 kids on the cruise. Very much an "older" crowd. Great food options in the ports, especially if you like lobster and other seafood.

Canada and New England!! by lisbeekley2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

We always pay extra to treat ourselves to a "suite." However, this time around, we felt cramp having to bump into each other (or wait for one to pass first), as we walked in front of the bed. The closet is way too close to the bed and not very functional when you open the closet door (we did not use it). Instead, we used the drawers to place our clothing. For the price paid, suites should be larger!! No problems at all with cleanliness of the room.

Would not recommend this cruise to anyone. Very slow service, not real friendly staff.

Sorry, his was the worst cruise we've every been on and we've been on about 100 cruises. by wesleyyancey

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Eclipse

Our Balcony room continued to be flooded with water every day. Guest relations was terrible and didn't reply or fix our problem until the 9th day of the cruise.. They only moved us to another room on the 9th day and then tried to charge us another $111.60 for items we didn't use, etc. This may be the last time we ever cruise with Celebrity unless they give us a complete refund as my wife got sick due to the mold and we room, we didn't get hardly any sleep, several of our tours were cancelled, the captain couldn't speak English properly, and the whole cruise was just a terrible disaster. Don't go on this ship! You will be disappointed and a waste of time and money!

Celebrity continues to slip by rowbearwilyums

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Eclipse

I realize that Celebrity suffered a lot financially during Covid, but Celebrity great are now gone, or cost extra. The Classic Beverage wine selection is pitiful. The staff, while still great, seem to be constantly on the run to keep up with the demand for their services.

Relaxing cruise by cynthiawong

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Jewel of the Seas

Overall we enjoyed this cruise. It would be more fun to go cruising with more friends. Unfortunately this time is only my husband and I. I looked at this trip as a pre-celebration of our anniversary that is coming up in mid-November.

Wonderful fall cruise by jeanne1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Emerald Princess

Wonderful trip!! This was the first time we've done a cruise in cooler weather but thoroughly enjoyed it!! It was too cold to enjoy movies under the stars but that was a small price to pay- everything else was great! Crown Grill was particularly delicious treat!! Saguenay was a big disappointment- wish we had stayed on the ship or just walked around the port- nice people but nothing to see there

Honestly, a bit underwhelming by nancy55767452

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Insignia

This is the only Oceania cruise we have been on that was not delightful in every way. A couple of the ports were just not worth stops. Maybe Oceania is aiming for an older demographic than we have ever experienced? The orchestra, band and piano player were depressing. They could have played music from 50's-70's and that would have been way more interesting and still worked for the demographic.

A truly Canadian Cruise from Bostan by cnrjones

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

This was truly a Canadian Cruise as all ports were in Canada. Having taken at least 6 New England Cruises this cruise had 2 ports we had never been to and one we hadn't been to in over 25 years! There was only one night of rough seas and entertainment had to be cancelled for that evening. That show was rescheduled for the last night of the cruise. Nice variety of shows and excellent entertainers. There was a good variety of food available, but the restaurant menus have been more limited in variety and buffet variety and offerings reduced also compared to many of our cruises over the past 35 years.

Bait & switch; 3 of the 4 ports shore time reduced, 2 excursions canceled by mussobooks

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

This, my 13th cruise with Norwegian was a huge letdown. After booking, received notice that 3 of the 4 ports time ashore were reduced stimulating the cancelation of the Bay of Fundy excursion (which I booked the cruise to see). A second excursion (lighthouse) was canceled when we boarded ship. Total bait & switch fiasco. I asked Norwegian to cancel the cruise and apply money toward another of its cruises in January 2025 and they refused. Not quality service, especially for a longtime guest. Buyer beware!

Good but not up to standard of previous cruises by cruiserfromSTL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

We enjoyed this cruise, though the room, food and entertainment were not as good as we have experienced on other cruise lines. Dining room food was significantly better than cafe food. Room was quite small compared to others we've had. Entertainment was often very good, but there was less of it than on other cruises. The exception is that there were more live performers (several were very good) in bars than on other cruises. In short, the cruise was enjoyable but not awesome.

Good food. Boring ports. by smoopier

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

These ports of call very uninteresting. Food on board very good. Wish there were a few formal nights promoted. Most people dressed always like out walking their dogs. Would like to see some glamour. A sing along piano bar would be nice and more lounge entertainers, less Karaoki....

Very disappointed by tsorko

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade

We have sailed on Norwegian and many others. The Jade was probably the worst ship we have sailed on. Cabin was not what I would call a suite.
