This is the only Oceania cruise we have been on that was not delightful in every way. A couple of the ports were just not worth stops. Maybe Oceania is aiming for an older demographic than we have ever experienced? The orchestra, band and piano player were depressing. They could have played music from 50's-70's and that would have been way more interesting and still worked for the demographic.
Embarkation

The process has been expedited, which was nice. The off-usual port location was disappointing
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food is always great on Oceania. The dining room, specialty spots, and made-to-order at the buffet were best.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Very typical offerings.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We were disappointed in this category. We are in our 70's and we felt these were aimed at an even-older audience.
Children's Programs
Kids are not typically on Oceania

Ship Quality

Cleanliness was great, but a lot of places need paint-touch-up. it's time for some work as it has not been refurbished since 2018. Age is showing, particularly in spa area and upper deck teakwood (even some rot there, in planking)
Cabin / Stateroom

We discovered a leak that made our carpet wet, so we were immediately moved to another equivalent room
the magician on board said he asked a taxi driver to take him to the most exciting spot, and was told to get back on the boat. The taxi driver was not kidding.
disappointing that route got changed, we were told to protect whales. Yet another Oceania ship was there the day we were supposed to be. What was that about? Incidentally, that ship also got much better location in Montreal the next day, to walk right into the Vieux Porte. Ociania ship was there the same day???
Yes, went to the Chateau Frontenac for tea. Very disappointing that the original amount of time scheduled to be in port got cut so short. Even the walking tour to the Chateau got shortened because the excursion desk held us up for more than a half hour to allow a very old couple in their 90's on a wait list to join us. TNot surprisigly, they could not keep up the pace for the walk, so we moved more slowly than we should have and had delays, even though they were assigned an extra person to shepherd them. Still, Quebec City is lovely!
Ship provided those with Ubers with incorrect address to give drivers. We walked to security gate where a nice guard communicated with driver with instructions in French, then arranged with farther-down security to let him through. This location was absolutely sub-standard. Port people were overwhelmed and cross.
