Alaska - Inside Passage Cruise Reviews

In all a great experience. The Buffett was awful for temps, food poisoning just waiting to happen. My entire party of 7 got sick. But around almost 5,000 people the odds were high. The ports need to be rethought. Too short of time in ports, long lines to take busses and not enough busses. Looking at a similar carnival cruise and the amount of time in port was significantly longer. Not enough seating in buffet and main dining rooms were booked. Large ship but needs more dining options.

This Alaska itinerary includes beautiful natural scenery, lots of relaxation opportunities and a wonderful cruise experience.

Highly recommend a cruise through Alaska. This was my second time on a slightly different itinerary but I would definitely do it again. Solstice was so much nicer than our first Alaska cruise in 2018. Love all the upgrades and improvements from the older ship.

Enjoyed the cruise immensely. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. Our attendants were exceptional. Dining choices were varied and excellent. Especially enjoyed the specialty dining rooms. We had wonderful times in each of our ports of call. Wildlife sightings almost everyday. Looking forward to returning with extended family members in the future.

The overall trip was a wonderful experience. Alaska was a great choice, and the CruiseLine was also a good choice. Carnival has shown to be a great host for these cruises and I thoroughly enjoy their shows, their service, customer service was super efficient and courteous, very helpful and I have no complaints. I only wish the ship had a waterslide or playground, but otherwise it was a wonderful experience both the ship and the excursions/scenery made my vacation unforgettable.

This was an amazing cruise- the ports were breathtaking and I feel as if Holland America is one of the better ships to cruise through Alaska. If we were on a bigger ship we wouldn’t have been able to go to certain places

Overall great. Bathroom cleanliness and odor effected the ladt few days.

All and all, the views were amazing. The cost of the cabin and the general lack of regard from the staff were the biggest detractors (Except for Lance, he was awesome). The food quality was decent, but the specialty dinning hidden fees defeated the point of it. The shore excursions were high dollar, and we were glad that we did the train.

It was incredible. 1st cruise exceeded expectations and set a high standard for future cruises

We heard comments from several other cruises at the airport who had many complaints about other cruiselines. This was the first (but not the last) time with Celebrity - they absolutely hit the mark!

Great cruise overall. Alaska is a place to take in the sights, for sure. If you want to ditch the Caribbean and do something different and scenic, come here!

Great cruise but can use a few improvements with booking entertainment and dining on the ship

An amazing journey to Alaska and seeing the glaciers.

Main disappointment was the food quality, followed by inconsistent service. I’ll choose Holland America or Celebrity for my next cruise.

This cruise should be at least 2 days longer. We spent less than 24 hours total in Alaska, the rest at sea. If you are traveling mainly to eat, play games, gamble, and shop for overpriced “luxury” goods, then this cruise is for you.

The cruise was fun overall. I would suggest people use Holland America and Princess in Alaska, though. they get better dock space and don't have to shuttle to the main areas.

The cruise was great. We took the land tour before the cruise, and it was just okay. We were a little disappointed with the Denali wilderness tour. TOO LONG. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise version of the trip and once again HAL met all our expectations.

Too rushed at port due to not having more time at each port . Eliminate Salmon Hatchery , cruise Endicott Arm, Dawes Glacier

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and my husband. We seriously enjoyed every second!

Melissa Lemke booking agent was outstanding in helping with the travel. The ship Soltice was excellent, very clean Ports were good selection. Wished we had more time in ports after excursions. Overall great
