Way too crowded on the ship always wait in a line food was cold and buffet. Overall Xpress wasn’t the best.

For the most part we had a good time on the Royal Princess. The Medallion app although it seemed glitchy at first seemed to work well to get on and off the ship, order food and drinks and find people you are traveling with and places on the ship. The food was a disappointment though. And although we paid for the premium package we received a bill for a few things that we shouldn't have. We are still dealing with the billing and spending a fair amount of time trying to sort out the billing.

The room steward Sigfred was absolutely the best. Mica was great and rest of staff. Dining room waiters were wonderful

Everything went very well on this cruise. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

We tried Celebrity because it is the upgrade of Royal Caribbean but found it to be the same. No better.

We like Holland America cruise line because of the quality of staff they hire. They are 'happy in their work ', which is the main thing we look for on a cruise. I will forever mourn the loss of Lincoln Center Stage though. Now, you only get 2 shows per cruise instead of hearing that beautiful music 2-3 times a day!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the ship and crew. Was my third time cruising with Norwegian and it's always a great experience. Every staff member is so friendly and efficient. Food and drinks are delicious.

A great experience on this cruise and even though the ports were a little rainy, it was a great time! And Alaska is beautiful! The mountains remind me of some of the mountains we have in Idaho.

This was my first cruise...the one and only cruise I ever considered taking. Alaska did not disappoint. The state has breathtaking views every where you go. I don't think seeing it from a cruise ship does it justice. I was not prepared for how many people were actually on the ship. I think the rest of my vacations will be by car, but I am glad that I had this experience.

Honestly We booked this ship and this itinerary in part because it had the North Star, it was going to Skagway and Victoria BC and unfortunately - the North Star was broken and we never made it to these 2 ports. Food was OK Not sure that I would book Royal again - just overall not a great experience

This cruise was a wonderful time. The weather held out well for us, little to no rain impeded our ports and activities. Our excursions and touring were fun and interesting. The ship catered to all we needed.

Not as hoped. Food needs flavor. Fruit and salad bar was really good. The cruise I booked in March was not what I got in September. Miscommunication in booking my air travel. I looked up flights and gave to Air To Sea. I thought this was in the invoice I originally paid. Air To Sea did not send invoice to travel agent for payment. They canceled my cruise resulting in a loss of 2K dollars to rebook. I wanted to go with my grandson so I sucked it up. When flights were rebooked I had a 12 hour wait at the airport. Also, after cancellation, I canceled my Marriott credit card. Cruise company gave partial refund to my card. New one did not arrive in time to use on the rebooking. Had to use AX card, lost Marriott points. So, some disappointing things from beginning to end. But I did spend a wonderful week with my grandson. All was not lost. This does not earn 4 stars as shown below.

Totally awesome trip to Alaska. Definitely see the Glaciers if you can. Get a balcony if you can. We will do this trip again. But we want to stop at Skagway port next time. RC cancelled because of port restrictions after landslides in Skagway. Would also try to eat more local food at the ports. We loved everything about this trip. Would recommend to anyone who loves nature.

Overall our cruise was an excellent experience. However, we felt nickel and dimed throughout the journey. After being upsold on the Princess Plus package, we repeatedly found the small print limited what the package advertised for food options. As an example, the introduction of premium restaurant lunch offerings actually replaced some of the casual dining opportunities that would normally be included in the Plus Package. We miss the days of having an all-inclusive experience without being upsold at every opportunity.

I enjoyed my cruise but would not choose this line next time due to the lack of entertainment and things to do on board. Grateful we had a balcony because we ended up spending a lot of our time there.

Consider the activities you want onboard, excursion options, and destinations, and pick the correct vessel and cruise line. Holland American tried but it is not a cruise line for everyone especially if you are in your 40s or younger. It was boring for us when we were at sea.

It was a great time. Did pan for gold and found some. Funny 2 small flakes

Enjoyed an end of summer cruise to Alaska and we had great weather for our trip. Beautiful scenery and great experiences.

Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Would HIGHLY recommend. Encore was a great ship.

This was our first cruise. Norwegian was so responsive to our every need. Food was delicious at all free places as well as the LeBistro.
