Review summary
We like Holland America cruise line because of the quality of staff they hire. They are 'happy in their work ', which is the main thing we look for on a cruise. I will forever mourn the loss of Lincoln Center Stage though. Now, you only get 2 shows per cruise instead of hearing that beautiful music 2-3 times a day!!Embarkation
It was rather long and confusing. A lot of walking and a lot of waiting. We had to go through customs and US passport stations then sit for about 45 minutes before boarding.it seemed more confusing than other terminals in Europe.

The food was very good this trip. The MDR especially.
Onboard Activities
Not very appealing.
Entertainment
Non of the shows sounded appealing to me. The dance shows are repeats of other cruises and the 'comedian' was not very funny.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
As usual, we loved our wait staff and adopted several of them during the cruise. Mai, Zidan, John, Kris and Prayoga were our favorites.
Ship Quality
Beautifully decorated older ship. Very clean and well kept.
Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin was great for our needs. Room stewards, Paul, was great. He did everything he could to accommodate us. Handicap accessible room was great.
Ship tip
Get to know your lido staff. They work very hard to take good care of you.
