Visit Queen Mary if you have the time. It was a great experience walking on a ship museum. We stayed at Hotel Maya before and after the cruise. Great food and service.

Flying in to Los Angels a day before we cruise. Staying at the Hilton Hotels abs Spa. Need a little help. Is this hotel far from the airport? What are some reasonable restaurants close to the hotel? Any stores close to pick up sodas?

The people at the terminal who controlled the security were rude and not very friendly. One security lady yelled at my wife and I because we were trying to drink the water in our bottle before putting it in the trash. She told us that we were not allowed to drink it and to just throw it, before going through the metal detectors.

The port in Long Beach is easy to access with lots of parking. I rode camels, participated in tequila tasting and enjoyed the most fun snorkeling cruise. My excursions were worth the extra money.
