I liked how walkable Key West is. At first, in early morning I thought it was so quaint and charming. But by day's end, as we were headed back to the ship and the streets were clogged with tourists, the charm had worn off and it was like any other tourist trap. We had a wonderful lunch at the Boathouse, and we had some cafe con leche at a little place.

We rented a golf cart from Sunshine Scooters and toured the town on our own. That was definitely the best way to get around. Key West was pretty but other than shop or eat there's not a lot to do with the amount of time you have in port.

Been here before and love it. We did a United Shore Excursion by Urban Adventure Quests called the Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure. Lots of FUN!

If you are taking kids DO NOT go to the Southernmost Cafe. I guess that it was a nude beach because there were a lot of people walking around either half dresses or not dressed at all. That was not fun explaining to the kids.
