Other than missing getting to see Pleasure Pier & getting there at 7:45PM the night before the cruise, they closed early due to spring break. We thought the beaches were better near Pleasure Pier than down the road in front of our Best Western Hotel. Seen several dead fish & garbage on the beach.

I enjoyed Galveston for the sole reason that I live about an hour away from the port.
