Review summary

Having been in dry dock to be refurbished for a month, I don't think it was ready to accept guests.  We had no hot water for showers for 3 1/2 days.  Apparently everyone on floors 6 thru 10 were you might say in the same boat.  The fabulous new water slide and kids pool were not ready for 2 days.  I don't think the hot tubs were ready for 1 1/2 days.  Our group went to two different bars and I don't think they could have been using anything more than 1/2 jiggers.  Had there not been ice in a glass, a Bailey's on the rocks could not have measured more than 1/2 inch of liquid.  It was a joke except for the price.  And as far as compensation for not having hot water for 3 1/2 days, a 15% discount was offered on a future cruise IF taken within the next year.  Another joke.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Mohamed and Nicoletta were excellent waiters in the main dining room. Great service and great personalities. Also the young lady from South Africa in the Chops Grille was just awesome. Clemente was the greatest in taking care of our cabin.

The shopping area just off the ship was really nice and secure.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Sad to say that due to high winds we were not able to stop at George Town.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel was a little chaotic in that there must have been 5 or 6 ships there at the same time.

We cruised the navigator first cruise out of drydock. Never again. We had a great cruise but the ship was not ready. Staff was thin, things didn't work. But we loved every minute of it as well as every cruise we go. But we go to have fun not look for issues. We don't recommend cruising soon after major drydock though.

Was on this same cruise and on deck 6 and never had trouble with the hot water. Amazing experience and no complaints. We got in the hot tub the first day. Only time we saw the hot tubs closed was late at night for cleaning.

Right on mines coming up and I cannot wait for this vacation let me tell you! I'm so happy that you finally were blessed enough to be able to cruise and I can say it is very addicting!

We were on deck 8 and were never out of hot water. My husband didn't realize that the temp control was set to cold once though. We were out the 14th through the 21st. I never saw the hot tubs out of order except late one night when they closed it for cleaning. This was my first cruise so I have nothing to compare it to.

My husband said when we called to book they told us about that dates and what was going on about getting out of dry dock and this date you went was a lot cheaper then the future dates like mine next weekend because of problems they had to figure out! Like someone said above you never get the first or second cruise out. So I would think they should of told you about this! So sorry

Tip #1 - don't ever book the first cruise out of drydock. Tip #2 - purchase the Premium Drink package nextime, drink what u want when u want and as much as u want.
