We rented a car in Houston and drove to the port. Port parking was easy and it cost less for the 4 of us for parking and rental car than paying for shuttle service from Carnaval

I got a great deal with Priceline Express deals for a hotel to stay in the night before. I enjoyed being on the coast (as Nebraska only has lakes). And I ate at Miller's Restaurant with an excellent seafood selection.

My best friend lives there and even though the waters are nothing compared to Mexico's, it is still a great place to just "get away"!
