Review summary

We signed up for our next cruise on the first day, we were told if we needed to make any changes or changed our mind we had to the end of the cruise. After my daughter was engaged in Cozumel we went to change our next cruise to after the wedding and they don’t book that far out. They would not refund our deposit and we’re not very easy to work with. They made us feel like we were taking money out of their mouths. It will be awhile before we sail with Royal Caribbean again, our experience from one year to the next was not good.

Logo Souvenir Shop

Went there three times and there was never enough help.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were wonderful, best part of the ship.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Overall the crew was nice, we did notice an extreme difference this time from last February on the liberty of the sea’s. The crew was not as sharp or attentive. The Ship was dirty.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The ships design is very nice. But we did notice it was not as clean this time from a year ago. It felt dingy and dirty this year. Both my husband and I spent the last two days in bed with fevers. We both got the bad flu virus while on the cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Overall our cabin was nice. The lady was very kind.

Ship tip

Wash your hands a lot, it’s better than the hand sanitizer.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
We loved Galveston, came a few days early.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Cozumel was beautiful, we had a wonderful time. We brought our daughter and her boyfriend on the cruise and he proposed to her in Cozumel. We did an excursion to swim with the dolphins, the Dolphins were wonderful the female instructor was very rude to all of us. Would not recommend swimming with the dolphins excursion.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
This was a beautiful port, we did the land and sea excursion. Went on the boat that had windows to see the bottom of the ocean, went to the turtle 🐢 cove, I love turtles, that was very neat. The city itself is very nice, very European.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Jamaica was great! We went on the thrill seekers adventure and it was wonderful. The staff was great the experience was great only thing we recommend is to wear bug spray. The mosquitoes were very bad. Overall this was our favorite excursion.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
When we arrived in Galveston on our last day there was a lot of fog. The boat was supposed to arrive at 6 AM and we were allowed in the port at 11:30. It made for a very pushed disembarking because everyone was late for their buses and their flights.

Did you do the review for royal and let them know your thoughts? We experienced a bad room steward and saw a lack of care or concern for food on the floor in the windjammer, messes everywhere! The unfriendly staff in windjammer. Only two people were attentive, completely different compared to the year before. Disappointed. So in my review I made sure to express it. The ice show was not as good as previous year. The comedian was awful. He was insulting the audience because they weren't laughing at his jokes and people were leaving.
